Holiday cottage in Saint-Martial-de-Nabirat, Dordogne, Aquitaine, France. The property stands on one hectare grounds of which 2/3 are reserved for the renters. The cottage itself is an old barn with exposed beams fully restored in a rural style enjoying an open view on to a large green field. The property is not closed but limited by bushes and small stone walls dating back to old times. There is no other rental on the property. Ideal for people looking for a peaceful vacation, in the open and preserved nature.

Located at the south end of Périgord bordering Quercy, "Plapech" is a picturesque and authentic hamlet consisting of five properties ; about 1 ½ m from Saint-Martial-de-Nabirat (600 inhabitants) to which it is attached as well as dozen other hamlets around. Perched on a hill overlooking the Ceou Valley (1st cat. River) our hamlet is an ideal place to relax far from modern life nuisances, traffic, pollution, noise ; its only access is a small country road ending in a cul-de-sac. Around : woodlands, and not far, a farm whose retired owners still raise some ducks and poultry. Saint-Martial-de-Nabirat is situated in Black Perigord, close to the Dordogne Valley and to the region’s most beautiful touristic sites : Sarlat is 20 km away to the Northwest, and Gourdon-en-Quercy (Lot) is only 8 km to the East.

Rental notes: Security Deposit required 230 Euro per stay These prices include eclectricity up to 10 kwh per day (Euro 0.08 each extra kwh). - An additionnal state tax of Euro 0.20 per day is charged from June 15 until September 15 per person aged 12 and older.

Ground floor - Sitting room, with open fire, book shelves. Dining room, with open kitchen fully equipped. Bathroom, with shower, 2 washbowls, toilet and washing machine. Upstairs - Room 1 has doube bed + 1 baby bed, Room 2 has double bed + 1 baby bed. Mezzanine : 2 single beds + a sofa bed sleeping 2.

Outside Area:The swimming pool is about 25 meters away from the cottage. Its use is private, reserved for the renters and the property owners. The water cleaning system is based on electrolysis and does not use chloride. No fences around but an anti-fall security system with alarm certified by French/European laws.
