An unspoilt rural location set amongst olive groves in an elevated position enjoying expansive sea views , just 1 km away from kilometres of sandy beach with shallow swimming in crystal waters and Green Flag award. The area is not for those seeking Irish bars, huge supermarkets, a hot nightlife - or indeed many Brits ! However there are many family run restaurants nearby always offering a warm welcome and fresh seafood,pastas and authentic oven baked pizzas to die for ! Bike and boat hire, tennis and horse riding are all within a quick drive ( you do need a car ) . Nearby towns and villages err on the 'shabby chic' but most boast historic central piazzas, churches and municipal building. Slightly further afield the ancient towns of Otranto, Lecce and Gallipoli are 'must visits' during your stay. We would also recommend a drive along the east ( Adriatic ) coastline from Santa Maria di Leuca to Otranto with its steep cliffs, dramatic views and pretty marinas

Rental notes: No breakage deposit taken - we trust you to replace any breakages with similar quality ! We ask for a deposit of £200 per week on booking. The balance is payable 4 weeks before your departure date

Beautifully appointed detached villa in 0.6ha (1.5 acres) with bright and spacious 3 bedroom/2 bathroom accommodation.The open plan living area is well furnished and sliding doors lead out to a large verandah which makes the most of the expansive sea views - ideal for alfresco dining. Full air-con/heating is installed Comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen with quality utensils,washing machine and dishwasher as well as high grade furnishings make this a real 'home from home'. We have added mosquito screens to all bedroom windows so, if you prefer, you can sleep with the windows open rather than running the air conditioning.

Outside Area:The pool area is really special with shady palm trees(illuminated at night), a covered shaded area, 6 sun loungers with deep cushions for perfect relaxation ! It would grace any small hotel but it is all yours!
