Welcome to Casa Alegria, one of the newest "true" penthouses, located in the prestigious condominium complex of La Casa Que Ve al Mar in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Situated high on the hillside overlooking beautiful Playa La Ropa and Zihuatanejo Bay, Casa Alegria is a 2185 sq/ft contemporary, two-level penthouse/condo on the 6th and 7th floors of the building, with elevator access, allowing magnificent views of the bay, spectacular sunsets and the blue Pacific Ocean from every room in the condo. Casa Alegria is tastefully furnished with native Mexican art and pottery, handmade Oaxacan rugs and treasures from Africa. It has marble floors throughout with intricate inlaid stones and custom wood furnishings. From the second you enter, you will feel right at home and recognize the beauty and the attention to detail throughout the condo. Though not located on the beach, Playa La Ropa is only a short 7-10 minute walk, where you will find numerous restaurants, many offering beach chairs/umbrellas where you can spend your day soaking up the sun. Various kinds of water activities and sports, i.e. swimming, parasailing, hobie cats, wind surfing, kayaking, wave runners, water skiing, and more are available. Or, perhaps you would prefer to just walk on the soft, white sand! If the Beach is not your thing, the lush, tropical grounds of La Casa Que Ve al Mar, beautifully landscaped with numerous palms and brilliant bouganvilleas, are yours to enjoy. There are two infinity pools that offer spectacular views of the bay. The pools are a great congregating area where you can meet your neighbors and learn much about the area from other guests and owners. This is a very friendly and respectful resort complex. The town of Zihuatanejo is about a 20 minute walk or a short taxi ride away. It is a beautiful area with wonderful people, many sights to see, various activities and fabulous restaurants.

Rental notes: High Season ..........$450/night November 15 - April 30, excluding holidays Low Season...........$300/night May 1 - November 14 Holiday Rates ........$600/night Thanksgiving week, Week before Christmas through week following New Year's, week before and after Easter, minimum stay/1 week. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. Reservations and Payment 50% deposit required within 10 days to confirm reservation by credit card or personal check mailed to owner . Balance to be paid 45 days prior to arrival, along with $350 security deposit Reservations made less than 45 days before arrival date require full payment Cancellation Policy Should you need to cancel your reservation, we will make every effort to rent the unit to other guests. If we are able to, we will refund your deposit. The following penalties apply in the event we are unable to rent the condo to other guests: 50% cancellation penalty on cancellations received 60 days prior to arrival date 75% cancellation penalty on cancellations received 59-30 days prior to arrival date No refunds on cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival No holiday refunds on cancellations made less than 90 days prior to arrival No shows will be charged 100% of the total stay. Damage Deposit A damage deposit of $350 is required before arrival. The deposit will be refunded within 10 days.

Casa Alegria is a beautifully designed and tastefully decorated penthouse condo. The entire lower level consists of the living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and powder room. It is quite spacious, opening onto two terraces and its own private plunge pool, just steps from the bar. The dining room can accommodate eight guests around a handsome, custom made table. The gourmet kitchen is beautifully finished with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. It has a purified water system for drinking and ice and is fully equipped with all your cooking essentials. We also provide bottled drinking water for those who do not want to take a chance with the local water! The upper level houses two king suites and a study with beautiful vaulted wood ceilings. Each suite has a king bed, a private marble bathroom with an outdoor shower and its own private terrace, offering breathtaking views of the calm blue water below. The master suite has a unique bed built in the center of the room......when you awake in the morning, the ocean is literally the first thing you see! There is also a large window opening to the mountain behind where bird life and a tropical jungle abound, offering cool and refreshing breezes throughout the suite. The study has a large TV with satellite service and DVD player with surround sound speakers. The entertainment center includes a desk for your laptop and a printer is provided. Wireless internet service is available throughout the condo.

Outside Area:The lush, tropical grounds of La Casa Que Ve al Mar, beautifully landscaped with numerous palms and brilliant bouganvilleas, are yours to enjoy. There are two infinity pools that offer spectacular views of the bay for your enjoyment. The pools are a great area to congregate with other renters and owners and learn about the area from their experiences in and around Zihuatanejo. Covered parking is provided, if you desire to rent a car, as well as 24 hour security. There is a hospitality and guest services desk where a bilingual concierge is available to assist with information about the area and any arrangements for services that you so desire.
