You can swim in the river, fish, walk in the woods, ride your mountain bikes, roast marshmallows on a campfire, have a barbeque on the deck and eat dinner under the stars. All this without driving anywhere!

The house is situated on 2 acres on the side of the Rondout Creek on a private, dirt road only 2 hrs from New York City. You'll have plenty of privacy and everything you need to have a very enjoyable vacation but you won't be out all by yourself in the middle of nowhere. We're in the foothills of Mohonk Mountain, and Minnewaska State Parks, where you can go rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking on countless beautiful trails. Drive fifteen minutes to the quaint villages of High Falls or New Paltz to go shopping, or explore the back roads of the Hudson Valley. It's only a short drive to the Catskill National Forest for more adventures.

Rental notes: The price is given per week for 1 or 2 people. $250 additional for each sleeping room per week. $250/weekend for Master Bedroom/1 or 2 people $50 additional for each sleeping room. Balance due before arrival.

The Living Room has a large picture window and 2 comfortable couches to relax on. The smaller one folds out into a queen size bed. In the summer we look out at the river. In the winter, we turn the couch around and face the fireplace. If the Master Bedroom's king size bed isn't enough to help you to sleep, open the window and drift off to the sound of the river. Here is the TV room with a queen sized fold out couch that can be used as a third bedroom. The Kitchen will have everything you need to cook whatever you want. Even a grill!
