Abaco Palms is a four bedroom, four+ bath home approximately 16 miles south of Marsh Harbor, the third largest settlement in the Bahamas. Here you can go fishing in what is considered the bone fishing capital of the world or go deep sea fishing at the 3rd largest barrier reef in the world - right in front of the house. Relax in the whirlpool spa with a Bahama Mama, the favorite local drink. Snorkel in front of the house or take a five minute boat ride in your 16-foot Carolina Skiff to one of the barrier islands with out-croppings of coral in the most beautiful, clear, blue water. Find your own fresh conch or lobster or enjoy them in one of Marsh Harbor's local restaurants. For many, the enjoyment of sitting under the thatched umbrella or cooking out on the deck watching spectacular sunsets is a dream vacation.

Abaco Palms is on the island of Abaco in the Bahamas. The villa is at Casuarina Point, a neighborhood that is 16 miles south of Marsh Harbour (the 3rd largest settlement in the Bahamas) and the Marsh Harbour International Airport. Bone fishing and great snorkeling is right in front at Casuarina Point. Walk for miles down the beautiful, white, sandy beach. Explore the small uninhabited islands in the neighborhood. There are 16 Blue Holes in the area to explore, too! Explore the area on the 2 kayaks provided for your enjoyment, or relax under the thatched umbrella or in the hammock on the beach.

Rental notes: The balance (75%) is due 2 months before you go. If you have to cancel for any reason we will refund your money or allow you to change your dates if we are able to re-book the dates you had reserved. Payments can be with a wire transfer, personal check (US funds) or a credit card payment can be accepted through Pay Pal.

Abaco Palms two central Air Conditions systems. There are 4 bedrooms and 4 plus bathrooms in the main house, and a 2 bedroom, 1 bath guest house is also available for rent together or separately. Abaco Palms, the main house, has a large Great Room on the main floor with a fully equiped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a table for 8 with an additional table for 6 on the balcony and 2 bar stools for additional seating. The living room has 2 sofas and 2 leather, swivel, rocker/recliners and also has a large TV with DVD and VCR and surround sound. The large deck on the main floor has a 6 person hot tub/spa and seating for 10. There are 4 bedrooms each with an adjoining bathroom in the main house and extra facilities on on the beach level. Two of the bedrooms are master bedroom suites with private balconies, king size beds, large bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs and separate showers, and large walk-in closets. The other 2 bedrooms have queen size beds, nice though smaller bathrooms adjoining the rooms. One of the queen bedrooms also has a single futon that can be used as a bed. There are 5 televisions in the house (one in each bedroom and a large one in the living room) and 4 DVD players, and there are 2 telephone systems: one local phone and a Vonage (Internet) phone with a US number and answering machine. Wireless Internet is provided. There is a separate laundry room with a large washer and dryer. Luxury linens are provided, and there are plenty of beach towels for your use. The guest house has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and a fully stocked kitchen, and has a beautiful beach with large thatched roof, tiki hut for enjoying the beach.

Outside Area:Enjoy the hot tub/SPA for 6 on the main deck of Abaco Palms with views of the white sandy beach with coconut palms and blooming oleanders. There is a shower on the beach level and a large stainless steel sink with a long counter for cleaning shells (treasures) and fish. The thatched umbrella on the beach provides shade. There are chaise lounge, beach chairs and a hammock for relaxing. There are beach chairs for 10. Two Kayaks are waiting for you to explore the water and the 16' Carolina Skiff (boat - included in the rental) is moored in front of the house ready for a spin. Parking for the 8 passenger van (included in the rental) is under the house - so it is shaded and covered. Enjoy fresh coconut from the many palm trees in the yard. The large, stainless steel grill on the main deck is ready for you to cook the fish you caught out front or the lobster from the reef out front.
