Two-room apartment, located in a typical Ligurian house built at the beginning of the XX century, one of the oldest house in Bocca di Magra (SP); entirely renovated, furnished and equipped, only 100 meters far from the beach, they have a stunning view of the sea and the Apuane. Bright living room with kitchen noock, TV/DVD and double sofa bed, microwave oven, electric hobs, fridge and freezer, extendable table, kitchen washbasin entirely made with Carrara marble. Air condition in all rooms and two others bed places in the sleeping room. Bath with large and comfortable shower, washbasin with Carrara marble surface. Our prices includes sheets, towels, consumptions of electricity/water and final cleaning; opening all years, also for shorts periods of stay.

Bocca di Magra is located at the extreme borders of Liguria, at the very beginning of the Gulf of the Poets, separating it from the close Tuscany coasts. These words are enough to have an idea (not even too vague) of the opportunities that such a locality can offer: an idyllic and relaxing place just a few meters from the beach: you can reach the most beautiful ones on comfortable boats or by crossing the Mediterranean Scrub through paths connecting Bocca di Magra to Monte Marcello and the other villages of the Gulf, passing by bunkers and war positions dating back to WWI. By car or by bus, you can comfortably reach, a few kilometres away, Tellaro and Lerici. Here, other boats and ferries will take you to Portovenere or the close Palmaria Island. By moving eastwards you’ll reach the bathing establishments of Fiumaretta and Marina di Carrara, perfect for who loves sandy beaches, as well as the close Versilia Riviera, with its coast, clubs and famous discos. But there is more: if you love the beauty of the hinterland, you’ll surely be fascinated by the hills of Val di Magra with its ancient and evocative villages such as Castelnuovo, Giucano and Ameglia. You can also visit the marble mines of Carrara and the historical city of Sarzana, just 10 mins away by car, where you can take a train to the famous Cinque Terre, just over the Gulf.

The apartment has also a small backroom with a washing machine and where you can also keep your bicycle or hang out the washing. Yard with table, chairs and sun umbrella overlooking the sea.

Outside Area:Bocca di Magra became famous in the second half of the XX century, when some of the most popular artist and poets of the time chose it as their favourite destination for their vacations. They were fascinated by the natural aspect of the place, which remain natural although the many humans activities, perfectly mixed with the slow stream of the river. Cesare Pavese, Giulio Einaudi, Vittorio Sereni, Eugenio Montale, Elio Vittorini, Marguerite Duras, Franco Fortini and many other artists find here comfort and relaxations bringing their feelings and sensations, beginning an unforgettable blend among art, human and nature, dedicating citations or sometime an entire poetry like "Il ritorno", of Eugenio Montale. Bocca di Magra now is a modern village on the shore but its calm and quiet atmosphere remains uncut and make this place a real oasis of relax and a wonderful point of departure for the ones who wants to visit the entire Gulf of the Poets, the Magra’s valley or the northern part of the Tuscany and perfect for the ones who needs to forget the car at the parking lot and just take relax.
