Casa Mandarina is a large, four bedroomed house situated about 60 minutes drive east from Malaga airport on The Costa Tropical near Salobrena. The house is ideal for family holidays, special occasions such as birthdays and weddings and skiing in the winter months. The area is typically Spanish and Ideal for those who are looking for a peaceful alternative to the Costa del Sol. We finished building the house in 2006 and a lot of love and attention to detail has gone into its design. Perfect for parties!

The house is situated on the prestigious Monte de los Almendros urbanisation and overlooks countryside and the sea. A few minutes from the villa you can use the private tennis court and small football pitch. Casa Mandarina is ideal for holidays throughout the year. The temperature is always warm and for those who like skiing but want to come home with an all-over tan this is the answer. Just an hour from the Sierra Nevada, you can literally ski in the morning and relax in the afternoon back at the house in temperatures of 15 degrees and above from January onwards. The Summers are hot but on Monte de los Almendros there is always a cooling breeze. The climate is as near to perfection as you can get! Salobrena is less developed than other coastal towns. The old town is perched on a rocky crag. The streets are home to numerous small shops and bars. The new town, beneath the rock, contains a wide range of shops including supermarkets, boutiques, banks.

Rental notes: Remainder to be paid 8 weeks before travel. Christmas is a special rate and is dependent on services required. Fridays are preferred change over days but this can be flexible.

The house is designed around a Morroccan theme with extensive use of ceramic tiles laid into the terracotta. The floors incorporate a central heating system. The sitting room is large measuring 30 ft x 30ft and leads into a large dining room with atrium. All the bedrooms are large doubles. The master bedroom suite includes a roll top bath, wet room and music system. All accommodation is of the highest standard.
