Welcome to Cardeillac, our family gîte in the Gers. Cardeillac’s spacious accommodation comprises a kitchen/dining room, living room, utility room, two bathrooms, three bedrooms and an extra bed-settee on the ground floor. The gîte sleeps nine, plus there’s a cot and other facilities for younger infants. The owners, Marie and John, who live adjacent, extend a warm welcome to their beautiful home in the heart of rural and gastronomic Gascony. Step out the doors of Cardeillac onto the sunny, south terrace and look out over the mature parkland garden with the Pyrenees glistening in the distance. The hectare grounds are enclosed and secluded with large lawns and shade from the assorted trees and shrubs. It is a safe haven for children and a quiet place to find some solitude. The swimming pool is complete and ready for you to take the plunge. A movement-sensitive laser perimeter, will keep an eye on the children and alert you when they get too close while unaccompanied.

This 18th Century farmhouse is situated in the little rural village of Haget, just five minutes drive from the local shops, restaurants and amenities of Villecomtal. Cities like Pau, Tarbes, Auch and Toulouse are all within an hour to one and a half hours away. Cardeillac is surrounded by gorgeous rolling countryside, with views of the Pyrenees. It has its own mature park garden, sunny terrace and a backdrop of the mountains. In the Winter, the ski slopes are just an hour away.

Rental notes: There is a cleaning charge of € 10 per person, per week. When you arrive, we ask for a sureity cheque of € 200, to cover any damages that may occur during your stay. The cheque will be returned to you at the end of your stay. Otherwise an agreed sum will be deducted from the € 200, to cover the cost of repairing the damage.

This is a real family kitchen with a dining table that sits eight adults with room for a high chair. Off from the kitchen/diner is the utility room and on the other side, under the open stairs, a computer corner with a broadband internet connection.
