Hi. We're Geoff and Lesley Shaw and this is our holiday apartment in Beziers in the beautiful warm and sunny south of France. The house is just 5 mins walk from several shops, bars and restaurants, with many more to suit all tastes and budgets in the town centre which is only 15 minutes stroll away. The house is also just 5 mins walk from Pont Vieux - the Roman bridge over the tranquil river Orb. Again within easy walking distance is the Canal du Midi and the nine locks known as Les Neufs Ecluses de Fonserranes. The light, airy apartment, sleeps 2 and is situated in the Faubourg district of Beziers. We are approximately 15-20 minutes drive from Beziers airport giving direct, economical access to Bristol, Luton and Stansted via Ryanair. Other nearby airports are Montpellier, Carcassonne and Perpignan, all about an hours drive away. Toulouse is 2 hours as is Girona in Spain. Car hire is available at any of the airports or can be had close to Beziers railway station. Rental notes: A key deposit to the value of Euros150, in cash, is required on arrival, to secure against breakages, loss and damage. This deposit is refundable on departure. All prices are per week, inclusive of electricity and water. Bed linen and towels are provided. Longer lets are possible and the price is subject to negotiation, depending on the length of your stay. A charge of Euros 30 per let will be made for laundry, linen hire and cleaning.

The accommodation on the first floor comprises of a kitchenette/diner with fridge, microwave, hotplate etc. You can access the sunny balcony from here, overlooking the garden. Joining this is the comfortable double bedded room (can be changed to twin beds if required) with vanity unit/wash basin. This leads to the separate shower room with toilet.

Outside Area:Although the front of the house faces on to a main road the apartment, being at the back, does not suffer from invasive traffic noise. If you do not have transport and wish to visit or explore the local countryside we are agreeable to play chauffeur!
