Located on a hillside overlooking Grenada Bay, Tradewinds has spectacular views of the sea, islands, and an extinct volcano. Next to Leveral National Park, the area is one hour from the airport and capital city in a small private development. The large covered terrace will captivate you with its views, breezes, and peaceful mood. The natural lagoon is lovelier than any pool. Our fans make A/C unnecessary. The villa is simple, immaculate, and nicely appointed. A few local restaurants or our cook will tend to your dining wishes. The immediate area is filled with natural, historic, and cultural attractions. Forest hiking, mountain climbing, and beach combing are all at hand. No night life or fancy dining, no boutique shopping, and no tourists will be found here, just beauty, peace, and the appeal of genuine Caribbean living.

Many visitors to Grenada describe it as the most beautiful small island in the West Indies. Mountains draped with lush forest and carved by waterfalls fill the island's center, while picture-perfect beaches fringe the coast. Less developed than other Caribbean islands, Grenada is "the original Caribbean". Unspoiled and relatively undiscovered (perhaps due to its extreme southerly location as well as the environmental values of the government), Grenada is home to some of the warmest, friendliest, and most charming people imaginable. Most really do love visitors. Pickup or drop-off at airport, $65 each way for up to 4 persons (1 - 1 1/4 hour's drive). Drive for island tours, approximately $100 for full day. Hiking guide locally, $10 for half day, plus tip. Boat transportation to Sandy Island to snorkel in a shallow coral reef with exotic fish and beautiful coral. $20 per person, minimum of two.

Rental notes: Includes all linens and basic maid cleanup service Monday through Friday. For an extra 200$ per week includes full maid service, personal laundry and cooking. Stays in the off season or for longer than 2 weeks are negotiable.

Outside Area:We do not offer TV/VCR or Air conditioning but the breezes and fans keep the house very comfortable.
