This recently renovated studio unit with bright modern interior, provides the perfect “pied-à-terre” from which to explore the most beautiful part of the Dordogne Valley. The wonderful 9 hole golfcourse at Rochebois is less than 2 miles away and all equipment can be rented. Walking and cycling can be enjoyed on the many public footpaths and country lanes in the area ( bike hire available locally). For a special occasion why not rent a hot air balloon or view the chateaux and the river valley from a small plane ( Sarlat/Domme aerodrome is a short drive away.)

The Dordogne Valley region of South West France, where our self catering holiday homes are located, is an area of exquisite natural beauty with lots to offer it’s visitors all year round. The pleasant climate, with warm sunny days in Summer ( 25° to 35° C ) and crisp bright days in Winter, provides the perfect atmosphere for enjoying the varied delights of the region. Situated inland from Bordeaux and north of Toulouse the area is easily accessed, being well serviced by rail, motorways, and airports with daily connections to many British and European destinations, and worldwide via Paris. The river Dordogne and its tributary the Vézère meander lazily through the landscape of widely varying and spectacular scenery, ranging from lush Oak- wooded hillsides to softer undulating countryside rich with walnut groves, vineyards, and fields of corn and sunflowers. The rivers provide opportunities for canoeing, boat trips, fishing and bathing.

The main door opens from a small front terrace into the living room. The modern couch converts to a comfortable double bed and there is ample storage space. Well equipped fully fitted kitchen. Spacious bathroom is fitted to a high standard with hydro-massage shower unit, Heated towel rail. Hairdryer.

Outside Area:There is a sunny west-facing terrace ( accessed from the living room via the front terrace) with barbeque and garden furniture for dining and relaxing. There is parking for one car. Canoes and kayaks are available for hire just 100m from the house. There is a small river-side beach just 200m away where you can enjoy picnicing, sunbathing, paddling and swimming in the clean safe water of the Dordogne.
