Mimosa is located on the waterfront of the famous world heritage site Kotor Bay in Montenegro. Ideally situated, this fully renovated apartment is a mere few metres from the Adriatic sea, 700 metres from the medieval UNESCO heritage City of Kotor. Kotor Bay is perfect for swimming with its calm waters and warm temperature. Although there are 2 tiny beaches in front of Mimosa most people use the numerous jetties dotted around Kotor bay to swim and sunbathe. Just outside Mimosa there is a large stone jetty which also has a walk-in area for children and those who prefer not to dive into the water. Kotor has a microclimate which results in long summers stretching from May to October. Winters can be cold but even when the mountains above the bay lie in snow, it rarely to never freezes at sea level. Warm dry summers and Mediterranean winters, Montenegro has 240 days of sunshine per annum. The ideal coastal areas surrounded by mountainous backdrops create the perfect setting for beach, river and mountain activities all year round.

Kotor Bay or Boka Kotorska as it is also known, is the deepest fjord in Southern Europe and one of the most beautiful bays in the world. It is arguably also the most beautiful part of the Dalmatian Coast with its deep blue waters flanked by dramatic and spectacular mountains. The bay stretches 15 nautical miles or 28 kilometres, its edges dotted by numerous villages such as Dobrota, Prjanc and Perast which lie under the imposing mountain ranges. Muo, where Mimosa lies is the closest village to Kotor and looks over the water to Kotor city which is a mere 700 metres walk. Kotor City, Cattaro or Stari Grad (old city) as it is also known, is a unique urban entity on the Mediterranean. Situated in the bay of Boka Kotorska with its mountain backdrop, it is one of the best living examples of the history of the region. Kotor City is considered one of the finest preserved medieval cities in the world and was listed as a world natural and cultural heritage site by UNESCO in 1979, and is on the list of endangered world cultural heritage sites. The fortification wall which surrounds Kotor is 4.5 km long, 20 m high and 15 m wide, and is preserved as one of the world's historic items. Lit every night Mimosa enjoys spectacular view from its terrace at night. Now replete with restaurants, (Internet) cafes and ATMs Kotor City offers all the comforts of a modern city.

Rental notes: Cots can be rented at Euro 3 per day and a high chair at Euro 1. Pets are considered. Please enquire. We charge a fee of EUR 5 extra per day per pet. Cleaning with a change of linen is available on request at Euro 40 per day. Minimum 3-night stay policy low season, 4-night stay mid season, and 1-week stay high season. Should you wish to stay for shorter please enquire. A cleaning charge of minimum Euro 40 will be added to the rental fee.

Note that Kotor Bay is cirlced by a rather busy road that passes in front of Mimosa so expect a bustling environment. 2 Double/twin bedrooms both with bathroom en-suite.
