Quinta do Padeiro has 6 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, WIFI internet access, SKY TV programs, charcoal BBQ and extensive shady area hacienda style pergola pool side for alfresco dining. The villa boasts over 5000 square metres of terraced and landscaped garden of various fruit trees and flowers, also lawned area with children's play zone with slides and toys and the pool has a safety screen to keep the little one’s from being too adventurous around the pool, or why not chill out in the hammock in the cactus garden? Quinta do Padeiro is a 200 year old villa which was once a Baker's farmhouse the villa has been sympathetically restored keeping the character of the property with many original features being retained. In the living room there are arched room entrances through wide stone walls. The room is tastefully renovated with contemporary furnishings and seating area around an original 'Baker's oven' fire place and a further 3 comfortable sofas plenty of space for everyone to relax. There are steps up to a dining area with seating for 8 people; the dining area also has French patio doors leading out to the pool area. From the living room there are more french oak doors and windows opening onto a shaded low level terrace and pool area (with safety railings). All the bedrooms benefit from overlooking the gardens or beautiful terraced areas ideal for sunbathing. There is a separate bedroom with ensuite wet room which is off the main terraced area and also a separate 1 bedroom garden cottage with a large walk in wet room and kitchenette. Quinta do Padeiro has beautiful mosaic tiled en-suite bathrooms with walk in rainforest showers.

In the villa is a well-stocked folder with all the details of the attractions so you can read at leisure and book you choices. Before departure for your holiday we provide an e-book with lots of information about the Algarve and Golden Triangle so you start planning your holiday. The local area has a huge variety of activities to interest the whole family. Options include horse riding, fishing, yachting/sailing, champagne cruises, shark & dolphin watching, 4x4 safari tours and cultural visits. In Almancil there is a karting track if you need to burn off that adrenalin. There is also an Aqua Park (10 mins drive on the other side of Quarteira) and a Swim With Dolphins experience and Theme Park (30 mins drive on the motorway). Faro town is a 15 minute drive. There is a large shopping centre (the Forum) that offers good facilities for supermarket and retail shopping. Faro Old Town has an interesting history and several historic landmarks worth investigating. There is a lovely harbour with restaurants dotted about. In Almancil (5 min drive) is a beautiful church with wonderful mosaics that is open to the public. Quarteira & Loule both boast excellent markets that sell both fresh produce and local made products. Within a couple of hundred metres walk in the local village of Vale d’Éguas you will find a Mozambique restaurant and also a traditional Portuguese restaurant whose speciality is Lamb stew and homemade red wine!

Rental notes: For low and mid-season rentals securing deposit must be paid on time of booking this is 50% of the total booking cost. For high and peak season rentals the deposit required is 25%. All deposits are non-refundable. All rentals - the balance is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of €300 is payable before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days after departure if the property has been left in an appropriate condition. The quoted rates include maid service with change of bed sheets & towels after 7 nights. Welcome basket including wine & food can be arranged at additional cost. The rental includes preparation of the villa also cleaning on departure and heating and/or air conditioning. All bed linen, bath towels are provided. There are many extras that have been included in the villa - 50' plasma TV and additional 42' tv's Freeview satelite, stereo & CDs, DVD player, movies, lots of board games even books and magazines. Bedrooms have their own full bathroom and access via french patio doors to the terraces. Breakfast in the morning can be taken on your balcony. Enjoy a freshly made coffee and take in the views. Forget about having to make a bed or tidy up - the maid will be in soon and take care of it all. The kitchen is equipped with all the gadgets and gizmo's, and utensils you need to whip up a fantastic meal. There is a formal dining table in the open plan lounge and outside dining area. The lounge room is very light and spacious with several sets of french patio doors accessing the garden, terrace and pool. There is a plasma TV and large, comfy sofas, squishy cushions and cuddly throws to snuggle under at night while relaxing with a hot chocolate. The villa is also regularly restocked the little things like tea, coffee, toilet paper and general food items. You will find shampoo and hair care products, bath and toilet soap, first aid kit and even washing powder. As an added extra all the bed linen and bath towels are provided for you while on holiday. For the children there is a selection of toys and pool/garden toys to keep them entertained.

Outside Area:The large rectangular shaped heated pool with integrated steps into the pool is surrounded by extensive terraces and paved area, it is possible to have the pool closed off for children, this must be requested in advance. There is a BBQ, sun loungers, outdoor table and chairs to enjoy al-fresco dining in the warm evenings. The massive garden has a lovely lawn area and flowering shrubs. The entire property is fenced and completely secure for the little ones to go for a wander there are plenty of toys to play including a climbing frame and swing set to keep them amused. No wheelchair access. Villa not suitable for mobility impaired guests. Secure parking for several cars - car hire recommended. Pool is fenced.
