The bed and breakfast is located in the middle of the medieval city of Vaison la romaine , opens to various terraces and patios with plants and flowers. One of them gives you an exceptional view over downtown and the mountains around Nyons. There you may relax and get refreshed after a day of sightseeing or hiking through Vaison la romaine and the Dentelles de Montmirail. Visitors to Vaison la Romaine have but to cross the Ouvèze river on the famous Roman bridge to become the special guests of a historical and extremely romantic place - the "Upper City" or Haute-Ville of Vaison la Romaine

Rental notes: Bookings can be made via phone, facsimile or e-mail. These will be followed by forwarding of a deposit (cheque in any currency), amounting to the equivalent of 30% of the total cost or by transfert. These cheques will not be cashed in and will be handed back to you upon checking out. If we cannot accept credit card for the final payment, exceptionnaly for the guarantees, you can give us your credit card informations. For the final payment, we only accept american traveller checks, checks in euros (french banks), transfert, or cash. If you cancel your stay between your booking and two months before your arrival at the Evêché, we send back the guarantees. If you cancel between 10 days before your arrival and two months before it, we take the guarantees (the price of one night or 30% of the full price). If you cancel between your arrival and ten days before, we take the full price, except if we rent again the rooms. An old family home, run now by Aude, with 3 rooms and 2 suites, totally charming, amidst books, paintings, antiques and flower-bedecked terraces. Each room has its private bath-room and toilet and its individual decoration, as the other rooms of the b&b. Paintings, books and ...flowers on the windowsills and balconies! There should be noted that two of the rooms of the inn are suites with private sittingroom. Ideal accommodation solution for three people travelling together. One of the suites has a second floor with another sitting - room and a solarium terrace, with a beautifule view to the old town and the castel (solanum room), just in front of the bed and breakfast .

Outside Area:Eveche is less than 5 minutes from the centre city and the Roman sites. L'Eveché is in the upper city of Vaison, an authentic Provencal village of old stone homes, the true medieval heart of Vaison la Romaine.
