Villa Rosa Etna B&B is located in the historical centre of the village of Zafferana Etna (Sicily). This quiet, picturesque village set on the slopes of Mt. Etna overlooks the Ionian coast offering a beautiful panorama from the famous resort of Taormina all the way down to the Calabrian coast. Three Rooms are available in the town center (sleeps up to 10) and Two more rooms are available at "the Vineyard" (sleeps 4) which is only 1 mile away from the old town.

The village of Zafferana Etna acts as a base for tourists visiting Mt. Etna at all times of the year and Villa Rosa Etna B&B is ideally placed in its historical centre; the volcano is famous for being the largest in Europe and rises to a staggering 3340 metres above sea level. The summit of this spectacular, active volcano can be viewed from Villa Rosa Etna B&B. The beautiful Ionic Coast can be most appreciated from the rocky heights of Taormina a world famous tourist resort with tiny narrow streets and fabulous designer shops, or from the higher view point of Castelmola; its spectacular panorama where you can sample almond wine. Nature lovers will enjoy the surrounding area of Taormina which offers the fantastic unspoilt landscape of the Alcantara Gorges. Further north and off the Sicilian mainland lie the Aeolian Archipelago. Sailing trips to these islands can be arranged privately from the Etna Port of Riposto. In the southern corner of Sicily lies the ancient town of Syracuse remain visible through its ruins depicting the mythological culture of the Mediterranean. From Villa Rosa Etna B&B day trips can be arranged to other interesting destinations such as Catania with its beautiful baroque buildings, the Roman Villa at Piazza Armerina or Caltagirone famous for its ceramics.

Outside Area:There is a lovely terrace and patio area in the garden where the breakfast can be served if the weather permits. BBQ is also available at "the vineyard".
