A beautiful & luxurious new traditional spanish villa with heated private pool, is set in a quiet location high above the orange groves on the hillside of Monte Pego. It is situated approx. 5 miles from the sea and two miles from the old Spanish town of Pego. At night, the myriad of stars make you feel as though you could touch the heavens, and the frequent shooting stars will have you running out of wishes!! LARGE PRIVATE HEATED floodlit Pool (11m x 6m) with Roman steps and delightful mosaic of 4 dolphins. By the side of the pool, the covered terrace offers some welcome shade and where you will find the outside dining table and 6 chairs. There is a Spanish style covered bar and BBQ with sink and food preparation area also with a beautiful Spanish tiled table and seating for breakfasts in the sun. There is an outside hot/cold shower, sun loungers and parasol, where you can sip your cocktails while you watch the sun set over the mountains, The upper gardens are planted with palm trees and other delightful shrubs, which give welcome shade over the very extensive driveway. A car is essential. There is a lower patio where you can sit in the welcome shade and enjoy the uninterrupted view of the orange groves, rice fields and sea.

Monte Pego borders the Pego-Oliva Marsh Nature Park. It is possible to hire a boat to explore the marsh and wildlife. The region offers a wide range of small Spanish style restaurants and bars as well as horse riding. Walking is also possible in the hills and mountains which is criss-crossed by a myriad of tracks and paths. With care you can walk comfortably all year round, but undoubtedly the best time is Spring, when the hillsides are carpeted with a hugh variety of colourful and delicate flowers and herbs, providing a feast for butterflies and a great spectacle for walkers. Several walking books and maps are available at the tourist office in Pego, also information about daily Spanish street markets. In this region there are many charming towns and villages, such as Benissa, Gata and the magnificent fortress town of Guadalest.

Tastefully furnished, the accommodation is on one level and comprises: large circular lounge with open fireplace, separate dining area opening onto the covered terrace and patio. A fully equipped kitchen has all necessary utenlils. A washing machine is situated in the downstairs utility room. The Villa and bedrooms benefit from tiled floors which stay cool during the hot Mediterranean summers. The master bedroom is beautifully furnished with kingsize bed and en-suite shower and AC. There are two further twin bedrooms and a separate bathroom. All rooms have ceiling fans.

Outside Area:Covered terrace and patio with adjoining large private pool, leading to the Spanish style covered bar and BBQ, where you can sit at the beautiful stone mosaic tiled table, and enjoy the view of the spectacular sunsets over the mountains! There is an outside hot/cold shower, sun loungers and parasol, dining table with six chairs.
