Karterados beach apartments are located on Karterados beach in a very pleasant location, just 100 metres from the sea. There are 5 apartments each with a fully-fitted kitchen and bathroom and air-conditioning.They can accomodate up to 5 persons. The apartments are in a quiet rural setting, surrounded by farmlands and gently rolling hills and vineyards. The black sand beach is perfect for enjoying the sparkling waters of the Aegean sea and is lined by beautiful natural sand cliffs.It is the perfect place for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The swimming pool is surrounded by a walled garden filled with exotic plants and flowers and there is a barbecue for guests use. 10 minutes walk along the beach is Monolithos beach - the best family beach on the island, due to the very safe and warm shallow waters in the bay and the fine black sand.On the beach there are beach sports, such as volley-ball and there is a childrens play area.Here it is possible to rent a sun lounger and umbrella and there are a few traditional Greek tavernas, serving local delicacies and fresh fish.There is also a small mini-market. The busy capital town of Fira is only a 5 minute drive, where one finds a thriving night-life, many shops, bars and restaurants, as well as museums and the old port of Fira, where visitors can take the cable car or a mule up or down the cliff-side and take a boat trip across to the volcano, swim in the hot springs and visit the small island of Thirassia.

The village of Karterados is situated in the middle of Santorini, just 2 klms south of the busy capital town of Fira. It is the ideal base for touring around the island and it is not more than 25 minutes drive to any one location. Karterados beach apartments are situated at the end of a road that leads out of the village of Karterados, where there is a beautiful tranquil black sand beach. Lining the beach are natural sand cliffs and the sea is warm and inviting. In the village of Karterados there are several traditional Greek tavernas and bars , shops, mini-markets,snack bars, bakeries, car and scooter rental offices, a tourist office and a laundry. From Karterados village it only takes 15 minutes to walk into Fira town, where there is a swinging night-life, an abundance of tavernas and shops and all of the amenities that a modern holiday resort offers. There are regular buses available from Karterados bus stop to all parts of Santorini.

Each apartment has a fully-fitted kitchen with plenty of cupboard space, a fridge / freezer and a cooker with 4 electric rings and an oven. There is a spacious fully-fitted bathroom in each apartment - 4 apartments have a shower and a bath tub and 1 has only a shower. 4 apartments have a loft sleeping area in an open-plan style, where there is a double bed and downstairs there is a large flold-out sofa bed and a large kitchen / dining area. 1 apartment has 2 beds in this area. These apartments have a private balcony over-looking the pool and the sea. The 5th apartment has a large living/ dining area where there is a double bed and a sofa bed.This has a large terrace at the pool-side.All apartments are fitted with air-conditioning.

Outside Area:There is a lovely walled garden surrounding the swimming pool, which is very private and is filled with exotic plants and flowers. This area is perfect for sun-bathing and relaxing. There is a barbecue and sun loungers. The apartments are located in a pleasant rural area, where there are lots of surrounding farmlands and gently rolling hills and the sound of the waves on the shore-line also adds to the relaxing atmosphere.
