Almancil is a small city with at about 6. 000 inhabitants. It is only 15 kilometres west of Faro airport (15 minutes by car). The urbanisation of Vale do Garrão where the villa is built on, is situated in the Golden Triangle of the Algarve, between the well-known resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago in Almancil, Algarve. This area is famous for its sandy beaches and its many golf courses. From the Villa it is approximately only 800 meters to the coast.
