Salisbury is medival town with it’s magnificent cathedral, good shopping, town pubs, superb range of international restaurants, cosy tea houses, theatre, cinema, market square with markets every Tuesday and Saturday. Fovant Badges can be seen as part of the stunning views enjoyed by the cottages. The Military badges were cut out of the chalk Downs during the First World War when Fovant and Sutton Mandeville were used as a military training site. Wilton House is one of the treasure houses of England, home to the Young Earl of Pembroke. The house and gardens are well worth a visit. Why not take a picnic and enjoy the wonderful gardens, and adventure play park? A definite favourite with young families.

Bedrooms have a fresh, breezy feel, while the bathroom is simple and spotless. Wood burning stove, exposed brickwork, fresh flowers, books, and games create a welcoming, homely atmosphere. A wonderfully light and thoughtfully equipped kitchen makes cooking a joy - and why not try the farm produced beef, sausages and bacon, and game when in season. If you are too busy to cook, Gillie, your hostess, will rustle up breakfast and barbecue supper hampers or simply stock the fridge, with locally sourced quality foods.
