Welcome to award winning Glenmore Cottage self catering accomodation, nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac at the foot of Slieve Foy, the highest peak of the Cooley Mountains with views of mountain and sea from the traditional half door. The Cottage will sleep seven people and holds the 3 Star award of Bord Failte (Irish Tourist Board). Hill walking, quiet road walking, golf, fishing, sailing and horse riding are all activities that this area has to offer.

Glenmore Cottage is situated in the heart of the Cooley Peninsula, which is located north of Dundalk. It is only 20 minutes from Newry City and Dundalk and only a 1 hour drive from Belfast and Dublin. The Cooley Penninsula is little known thus totally unspoiled with magnificent views of mountains, sea, and valleys. County Louth is between Belfast and Dublin with the Cooley Penninsula to the north and Droheda and the Boyne Valley to the south. Louth has a number of important monuments and seaside resorts, the perfect place to holiday. Medieval Carlingford has a lot to see, including the views of 14th Century Johns Castle, Dominican Abbey, The Mint, has interesting pubs and lovely restaurants and holds the tidy town award.

Built in traditional style, the cottage has a cosy sitting room with solid fuel stove, TV, Video, 3 bedrooms: 1 double bed, 1 double and single bed, 1 twin bed, 1 cot, a bathroom with shower, a shower room, 2 toilets and a newly fitted kitchen.
