Moreover it’s possible to go waterskiing or book a trip with the owner in his helicopter, large sailing yacht (15m) or vintage wooden motorboat (12m). Peacefully located in a gated private residential area of Solcio di Lesa, half-way between Arona (7 km) and Stresa (10 km), it’s the ideal starting point for visiting Lake Maggiore and surrounding nature. Stresa is the most popular tourist town of Lago Maggiore with many shops, restaurants and a beautiful lake promenade. From there you can hop on any ferry boat and explore the lake, its magical islands and its natural beauty from Italy to Switzerland. Easy one day trips are possible to the cities of Milan, Locarno and Lugano, the famous Piedmont vineyards, the romantic Lake Orta and the nearby mountain valleys. Lake Maggiore is the second biggest Italian lake after Lago di Garda, its eastern bank is in Lombardy, the western in Piedmont while the northern section extends into Switzerland. The charming little towns along its shores are popular resorts today with their grand hotels recalling the Belle Epoque. The most renowned towns of Lago Maggiore on the Piedmont side are Arona, Stresa with its refined elegance, Verbania Pallanza and the town Intra, the charming village Cannero Riviera with a nice beach and Cannobio, close to Switserland. On the Lombard side there are the town Luino and its famous market, Maccagno with a popular beach, the charming Laveno and its cableway towards a panoramic view, and finally the laid-back village Angera and its Castle La Rocca.

The luxury vacation villa accommodates up to 10 persons: - The main villa (350m²) sleeps 8 persons in four large bedrooms, fully air conditioned, and each with telephone, electronic safe and en-suite bathroom. - In addition to the main villa, an independent guest cottage (50 m²) with 2 single beds, kitchen and bathroom is available at extra charge. The interior has been designed in high quality Italian style and flavour with a beautiful living room, cosy couches and antique fireplace, dining area, large fully-equipped kitchen and a private fitness room. The children will love the upstairs mansard with sitting area, junior billiard table, electronic piano and other games. The house provides all modern comforts as satellite TV, DVD, telephone and wireless internet.
