Roatan is a mountainous ridge of an island located 30 miles off the north coast of Honduras. It is roughly 40 miles long, and about 4 miles at its widest. English and Spanish are both spoken widely across the island. The principal economic activities are tourism and fishing. Roatan is located along the largest barrier reef in the Caribbean (second worldwide only to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef), providing plentiful opportunities for marine activities like diving and fishing. Accessible neighboring islands include Utila, Guanaja, and Helene, also known for their excellent diving. Located on 8.5 landscaped acres on Milton Bight, a picturesque bay on Roatan’s north shore, Casa Vista Verde is slightly east of the island center. The property offers 900 feet of private waterfront on crystal clear Caribbean water. Following a short 20-minute ride from the airport, guests enjoy the cool, consistent trade winds and spectacular views of the sea and coral reefs just off shore. Casa Vista Verde's central island location makes it an ideal base to explore Roatan's many activities and offerings, including canopy tours, submarine dives, hiking, horseback riding, and world class scuba diving.

Rental notes: Holiday weeks (Easter, Christmas, New Years) 795 USD per night, 7 night min. Casa Vista Verde is available nightly (minimum stays apply) for 10 overnight guests, or on an event basis for larger parties or receptions. Above rates are based on 10 guests. A surcharge of 45 USD per night per additional guest over 10 will be applied. For 8 guests, a 10% discount on the above rates is applicable, for 6 guests a 20% discount will be applied, and for 4 guests, a 30% discount will be applied. Discounts for stays longer than ten days are also available - please inquire for details. Electricity is billed for actual usage during your stay and is deducted from your $2000 deposit that is taken on arrival to the Villa.

The three-level main house, completed in 2008 to the highest standards, features 5 bedrooms with en-suite baths. The downstairs master bedroom and two of the upstairs bedrooms feature queen size beds, and the two additional upstairs bedrooms have double beds. Both couches fold down to sleep two, for a maximum sleeping capacity of 14. All bathrooms feature beautiful stone counters and two-person tubs. The master bath showcases a two-person spa tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity. Custom-made mahogany furniture throughout the house and top quality linens help make Casa Vista Verde a luxurious retreat for all our guests. The main dining area seats twelve comfortably, with additional side table seating for six and kitchen seating for four. Provisioning service before your arrival and during your stay is complimentary, along with six days per week of housekeeping, laundry, and day meal preparation. The kitchen features top quality stainless steel appliances and is outfitted with a full selection of flatware, stemware and china. Parties as large as 60 people can be accommodated using the on-site casual furnishings. For catered events, Casa Vista Verde also features a double oven with warming drawer, and separate upright and walk-in refrigerator/freezers to facilitate food storage and preparation. The open concept dining and living areas are on the ocean side of the house with beautiful views in all directions. Between the living area and the covered porches, it is easy to find a comfortable chair or couch for relaxing with a cold drink and a good book. After a full day of activities, guests may retire to the game room to enjoy the large screen surround sound entertainment system, extensive video and audio collection, full bar, and game table.

Outside Area:Casa Vista Verde encompasses 8.5 landscaped acres on Milton Bight, a picturesque bay on Roatan’s north shore, slightly east of the island center. Casa Vista Verde has been landscaped with guest enjoyment in mind. Walk the grounds, and you will find ripe pineapple, coconut, guava, mango, lime, plum, banana, avocado, plantain, watermelon, or other delicious fruits depending on the season.
