Amazing villa with swimming pool and a sweeping view on Lake Maggiore, Italy. Situated near Stresa on the western shore of Lago Maggiore, this private vacation villa offers bright, spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to 10 persons. It has a panoramic position upon the hills giving great views on the lake and a nice garden (1500 m²) with olive and palm trees. The large swimming pool (5x10m) is filled with salty water (no chlorine). The villa can also be rented by 5 persons opening only the upper floor (except in high season). The lower floor will not be rented out then.

This beautiful holiday villa is peacefully located in between Belgirate and Stresa, the most popular tourist town of Lake Maggiore with many shops, restaurants and a beautiful promenade along the lake. From there you can hop on any ferry boat and explore Lago Maggiore, its magical islands and its natural beauty from Italy to Switzerland. Easy one day trips are possible to the cities of Milan and Lugano, the famous Piedmont vineyards, the romantic Lake Orta and trekking in the nearby mountain valleys. Lake Maggiore is the second biggest Italian lake after Lago di Garda, its eastern bank is in Lombardy, the western in Piedmont while the northern section extends into Switzerland. The charming little towns along its shores are popular resorts today with their grand hotels recalling the Belle Epoque. The most renowned towns of Lago Maggiore on the Piedmont side are Arona, Stresa with its refined elegance, Verbania Pallanza and the town Intra, the charming village Cannero Riviera with a nice beach and Cannobio, close to Switserland. On the Lombard side there are the town Luino and its famous market, Maccagno with a popular beach, the charming Laveno and its cableway towards a panoramic view, and finally the laid-back village Angera and its Castle La Rocca. From Stresa there is a cableway up to the Mottarone mountain providing a spectacular view over Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. In winter it’s possible to ski here and in summer it’s a great day out for walking around.

Rental notes: Prices are quoted for 6 to 10 person rental, please email us to get prices for less than 6 persons rental. Security deposit on arrival (obligatory): 1000 euro. Final cleaning, linen and towels (obligatory): 160 euro (5 persons) - 180 euro (6-10 persons). Possibility to add single bed (above 10 persons): 150 euro. Possibility to add baby bed (above 10 persons): 100 euro. Heating charge based on consumption.

The large luxury villa sleeps 10 persons over 2 levels: - On the upper floor (street level) is a very spacious living room with sitting corner and large dining table, a fully equipped kitchen and panoramic terrace with table for outside dining. Two double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and 2 bathrooms (one with shower, one with bathtub). - On the lower floor (garden level) is another large living room with dining table (14 people) and kitchen. One bedroom with double bed and single bed and one bedroom with double bed. Bathroom with shower. It's possible to add an extra single bed. The villa can also be rented by 5 persons opening only the upper floor (except in high season). The lower floor will not be rented out then.
