Outside Area:Casa Portuguesa is walking distance to Casa Cenote restaurant which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and a large selection of mixed drinks( great margaritas) and mexican beers. Also there you can find Manatee Cenote which is very beautiful and a nice refreshing fresh water snorkel. The Cenote empties into the bay right in front of the restaurant which makes a very interesting snorkel or dive. The whole bay of Tankah is dotted with coral and dive trips that are available nearby for exploring the outer reefs of Tankah. Tulum is nearby with its ruins, shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Akumal is just north with more restaurants, shops and diving.
