This pretty Provençal house has the most magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, the hilltop village of Cabris and towards the sea in the distance. It is on a south-facing hillside and has an enclosed terraced garden, 900m², with Mediterranean plants and mature olive trees. In the garden there are lovely places for sitting out and a hammock for relaxing in the shade.
The pool is in a sunny spot and is surrounded by a wide deck for soaking up the sun. There is also a barbecue and parking in the driveway. The apartment is on the first floor and has a private balcony for outdoor dining; the garden and pool are shared with the owners, a very discreet French couple who live on the ground floor.
Inside, the apartment has recently been completely refurbished ready for 2009; it is light and spacious, 65m², and is decorated and furnished in contemporary style.

Location of this Cote d'Azur - Riviera apartment.
The property is situated on the road to Saint Cézaire about 9km west of Grasse. It is about 800m from the picturesque old village of Spéracèdes which has a good restaurant, a boulangerie and a couple of little shops. You can walk to the village (50m of the walk is along a road with no pavement). There is a supermarket 3km and more shops in nearby Peymeinade, 4km, and some nice restaurants in Cabris, about 3km. Grasse is a larger town with a good choice of shops and supermarkets.
The coast is about 20km and the nearest sandy beaches are at Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Cannes and Antibes. There is now an excellent rail link which runs from Grasse to Cannes and along the coast. (There is free parking at Grasse station and the trains run frequently until late at night). In the other direction, the beaches at Fréjus, Les Issambres and St Raphael are an easy trip, about 45 minutes drive. The property is very well situated for touring both inland and along the coast.

The bedroom has a double bed, 140cm. There are wonderful views from the living room and from the bedroom. There is a shower room and W.C.Everything is new for 2009!
