Attractive lakeside villa in Lesa with pool and beach at Lake Maggiore, Italy. Peacefully located in a residential area of Lesa, half-way between Arona (7 km) and Stresa (10 km), it’s the ideal starting point for visiting Lake Maggiore and surrounding nature. This vacation home is surrounded by a large fenced garden bordering at the lake with a lovely green lawn and various beautiful flowers and plants. Please note that the friendly owner has its summer house on the same property and shares the garden and pool. He’ll be more then happy to assist you in any way and give insider tips about the region.

There is a sports club at 200m from the house with fitness center, large outdoor swimming pool and tennis fields. Within walking distance (500m) you’ll find the charming lakefront village of Lesa with grocery shops as well as a variety of restaurants and cafés. You can easily hop on any ferry to explore Lake Maggiore, its magical islands and its natural beauty from Italy to Switzerland. Lake Maggiore is the second biggest Italian lake after Lago di Garda, its eastern bank is in Lombardy, the western in Piedmont while the northern section extends into Switzerland. The charming little towns along its shores are popular resorts today with their grand hotels recalling the Belle Epoque. The most renowned towns of Lago Maggiore on the Piedmont side are Arona, Stresa with its refined elegance, Verbania Pallanza and the town Intra, the charming village Cannero Riviera with a nice beach and Cannobio, close to Switserland. On the Lombard side there are the town Luino and its famous market, Maccagno with a popular beach, the charming Laveno and its cableway towards a panoramic view, and finally the laid-back village Angera and its Castle La Rocca. Especially noteworthy are the Borromeo islands just in front of Stresa, these small islands include: Isola Bella with a majestic pallace, Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen’s Island) and Isola Madre with a bothanical garden.

Rental notes: Security deposit (refundable): 1000 euro. Final cleaning + bed and bath linen (obligatory): 200 euro. Twice per week there is a change of linen and basic cleaning. Heating: according to consumption. Baby bed available. Use of the buoy (on request): 50 euro per week. Catering services on request.

The holiday villa can accommodate up to 9 persons in 5 bedrooms: On the main floor is a spacious living room with fireplace and TV, dining room with table and separate kitchen. Internet wireless available. On the first floor are the 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one with tub, one with shower): 1 double bedroom with access to the balcony, 3 twin bedrooms (beds can be joined), 1 single bedroom.

Outside Area:The house is surrounded by a large fenced garden bordering at the lake with a lovely green lawn and various beautiful flowers and plants. Outside is a covered terrace with table and barbeque. There is a sauna and large swimming pool overlooking Lake Maggiore. Next to the garden is a small public beach accessed through a little gate and there is a private buoy for anchoring your boat.
