The farm "Il trullo del generale" is 2 Km from Alberobello, the "capital" of the trulli in Apulia. Apulia is a region situated in the far south east of Italy washed by adriatic and ionian seas. It can be easily reached from all over Italy and Europe by train, by air, by sea and by car. The farm, which also grows biologic products, lays in the country around Alberobello, 15 Km from the sea. It is made up of different houses fully furnished. Here you can spend your holiday or even camp. At your arrival, you will have the chance of tasting some of the farm's biological products, such as vinegar, olive oil, wine, jams or honey-almonds.

The farm, which also grows biologic products, lays in the country around Alberobello, 15 Km from the sea. It is made up of different houses fully furnished. Here you can spend your holiday or even camp. In the neighbouring woods you may discover the typical flora and fauna of the region and approach the tradition of the growing of the murgesi horses that still live in the wilderness. During your stay at the farm you can also enjoy a ride on horseback with or without instructor. It can be easily reached from all over Italy and Europe by train, by air, by sea and by car, here are some advices on how to reach the farm: - by plane: land at Bari or Brindisi airport. There you can either rent a car or catch a train to reach Alberobello - by train: take an ETR train to Bari, then change and take a train to Alberobello - by boat: dock at Bari or Brindisi then reach Alberobello by train - by car: take the highway A14 (Bologna-Taranto) the exit is Bari-nord, take the bypass (to Brindisi -Taranto) exit No.13 (Mungivacca). Then road No.100 to Casamassima.

Rental notes: - 20 / 35 euro for final cleaning. - extra charge for water, electricity, gas: 20 / 35 euro per week per trullo to be paid on arrival. - heating not included during winter time. - linen is not available, it can be rented for 5 euro per person.

Guests can stay in a trullo or in an apartment at the farm. On your arrival, you will have the chance of tasting some of the farm's biological products, such as vinegar, olive oil, wine, jams or honey-almonds. It is possible to partecipate to seasonal harvesting: MAY-JUNE cherries, JULY figs, AUGUST apples-pears-figs-apricots-plums, SEPTEMBE-OCTOBER figs-grapes-prickly pears-chestnuts, NOVEMBER-DECEMBER olives

Outside Area:In the farm there is a swimming pool; it is possible to practice basketball, soccer, table tennis, bowls, table football, as well as having a ride on horseback or by bike (volley, tennis under costruction / swimming pool and horse-ride only in summer time). Also, on special occasions, parties and tournaments will be organized.
