Each cottage, with its own private beach frontage, will remind you of a time when Florida had not yet been discovered by waves of vacationers. The two-bedroom cottages offer you a private and relaxing PARADISE. Boat dockage is available to our guests. Your hosts, Pepe and Ellie, are always available to answer any questions you may have, and to ensure that your stay with us here at Pelican Shore Cottages will be a pleasure to remember. Both Pepe and Ellie are avid boaters and anglers, have a passionate love for the wildlife and ecology of SW Florida, and are very knowledgeable about Manasota Key and the entire Englewood area. The cottages are nestled on over 4 acres among 298 palm trees, soaring Australian Pines, and other lush tropical vegetation, adding to the peaceful privacy of Pelican Shores. Most of the 10 cottages have 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, and kitchen, and have a convenient screened-in porch which provides you with hours of watching the waves, the seagulls and pelicans, and passing sailboats.

Pelican Shore cottages is located on Manasota Key, a gorgeous 11-mile-long barrier island of unspoiled beaches. Our cypress cottages and apartments are situated on a marvelous beachfront location overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Across the drawbridge heading inland is Englewood, a small community nestled between Naples and Sarasota, and we are just a few miles from Venice Island, where you will find fabulous restaurants and lovely boutiques

Rental notes: Our apartment rental rates begin at $700 per week. Cottage rates begin at $850 and range to $950 per week. Monthly rentals are also available, especially during the winter months. (Minimum three (3) night stay required) We accept Visa, Mastercard, Cash, or Checks. The 12% Florida taxes are additional. a $500 Deposit is required for a monthly or longer reservation.

Most of the 10 cottages have 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, and kitchen, and have a convenient screened-in porch. Each cottage has central heat and air conditioning, fridge, up-to-date stove, microwave, ceiling fans, color TV with cable and VCR, telephone for local calls, screened porches, and updated bathrooms. The kitchens are nicely equipped, and linens are provided. We have 9 two bedroom cottages, 1 three bedroom cottage, and two apartments; one 1-bedroom, and one 2-bedroom.

Outside Area:Our private little paradise allows you to do as much or as little as you desire in an environment of classic Old Florida.
