Torchiaro holiday house in hilltop village - Marche vacation house

Following a full restoration during 2004 Casa Margherita meaning "Daisy House" is now available for rent as a vacation / holiday home. The house is situated in the small hilltop village of Torchiaro in the Le Marche region of Italy and is midway between snow capped mountains and the Adriatic coast. The house is ideal for the discerning holiday maker who would like to experience life in an Italian village mixing with the welcoming locals. The village history can be traced back as far as the 13th century and it is ideally situated for the holiday maker who wants the peace and tranquillity of the Italian countryside but who does not want to be too far from the hustle and bustle of the Coast.

Situated 18 km South West from the Adriatic Coast south of Ancona. This beautiful coastline stretches from Pesaro to the north as far as San Benedetto del Tronto to the south it has as many as nine blue flag beaches all with their own individuality some with beach bars some much quieters. Most of the larger resorts have harbours and marinas of varying sizes both Civitanova Marche and San Benedetto del Tronto being much larger housing pleasure craft, fishing fleet and boat building facilities.

On the top floor there is one double and one single bedroom and a bathroom with shower. On the middle floor we have the main entrance which leads to the main living dining area with open plan kitchen. Down a further flight of stairs there is the basement originally used as a storage area, here you will find a second bathroom with shower and two more sitting areas one has a double sofa bed and the other has a single bed this room enjoys the same views as the terrace. From the inner room there is an exterior door that leads down some steps to the rear of the property where it is possible to access the utility room with stone sink and washing machine. The main living area has a wood burning stove for those chilly evenings, but for winter visitors the house has a modern central heating system that is gas fired this also heats the water year round. All services are connected to mains supply no fear of the gas tank being empty.

Outside Area:The terrace is equipped with a teak table and chairs with full size parasol if you wish to keep out of the sun whilst enjoying your meals al fresco or just relaxing and admiring the panorama.
