Our home is full of charm and character with open fires to warm you in the winter and superb grounds with well established trees to shade you in the summer. The pool is waiting for you to enjoy during the lovely hot weather.

Maison Famille is located in the department of Ariege. The Ariege is situated at the foothills of the Pyrenees and right next door is Andorra. Andorra is great for skiing and duty free shopping. Ariege is well known for being unspoiled. The area is abundant with outdoor activities of skiing, walking, cycling, fishing and water sports. There are several ski domains within easy reach. Way marked walking routes are simply to follow for maximum enjoyment. Many local towns are steeped in religious and cultural history and some offer thermal spas. There are daily markets in many of the Bastide towns and villages and if you are a dedicated shopper Toulouse, Carcassonne and Andorra offer all you would want. The countryside is littered with prehistoric sights and references to explore.

Rental notes: deposit required to secure booking and total amount due 8 weeks prior to holiday. During peak times changeover day is a wednesday but any other time is flexible to suit low cost flights. short weekend and mid week breaks considered out of peak times. long term winter rentals can be arranged. between october and april a fuel suppliment of £50 a week for wood and electric used.

We have a seating area with fire around a small table we refer to as the snug. After your evening meal or after a hard days sight seeing why not relax in our comfortable sitting room. Our elegant wood panelled dining room has one large table were all can sit and eat. It has two large French doors that over looks the front garden. Bedroom 1 has large en-suite. It has a king size bed. This room will accommodate a travel cot also. Bedroom 2 is a spacious en-suite family bedroom that has a king size bed, and two single beds. Bedroom 3 is large double or family room which contains a king size bed. Asingle bed and a large cot. There is a shower room just outside the bedroom door. Bedroom 4 contains a king size bed and built in wardrobes and has a en-suite. This room is connected by a door to room 3 to create a large family space. Room 5 contains to single beds and could also accomodate a travels cot with ease.

Outside Area:We currently have an above ground swimming pool with sun bathing area. We have beds and chairs for your use should you decide to have a day by the pool. We have a small orchard containing fruit and nut trees. We have an expanse of grass for sun bathing or playing. We have a variety of garden toys and play equipment for young and old. We have an area that is secure for parking cars and motorbikes..
