The apartment is located just a few minutes walk from the centre of the village, ski bus stop, ski hire shops, nursery slope, excellent ski school, supermarket, restaurants, bars, bank/ATM. Viehhofen is linked to the ski area of Saalbach/Hinterglemm/Leogang ski area but is also a convenient location to ski in Zell-am-see. Ski bus to the Saalbach/Hibterglemm ski area and a local bus to Zell-am-see. In the near future the is plans to put a gondola system in Viehhofen to link the 2 resorts. You can ski back into Viehhofen on a blue run from the main ski area as long as there is enough snow. This finishes at the Nursery slope. This is a picturesque ski area offer down-hill skiing, cross country skiing, sledging, sleigh rides, quad bikes, ice skating, snow shoe walking. In summer beautiful walks from the door, hiking, rock climbing, mountain bike trails, white water rafting, zip-lining, summer skiing at the Kaprun Glacier (just 20km away). Annual Motorbike Fest, Classic car rally, mountain bike championships, and the new Red bull Formula 1 Spielberg race track is just 1 hr 30 mins away. A great place to have a holiday. Outside Area:Located in quiet residential area of the village just a short work to all the local amenities, such as shops, bank ATM, restaurants/bars, ski bus stop at bottom of the road. Nursery slope with excellent ski school, ski hire shop, Ski back to Viehhofen from the main ski area on a blue run (snow permitting) that joins up with the Nursery slope. Apres at the Hecherhutte half way down the blue run, Apres bar at the bottom on Nusery slope. Well maintained gardens, ideal for sitting out in the summer or for young children to play in. Single parking space available, further public parking just a few mins away in the village centre. There is a tennis club close by, mountain bike/ski hire shops. Beautiful walks along the river and up the hill-side from the door.
