Continuous natural beach and over half the island is state nature preserve (our house has wonderful views of the preserve). Leave your cars on the main land. Bicycles and electric golf carts available on the island for transportation. Use of one golf cart & bicycles included in the rental. Convenient water taxi service starts your adventure with a beautiful 20 minute boat ride. The balance between man and nature is an island phenomenon. Birds, tortoises and other wildlife abound. Some of the best shelling in the US is on our beaches. (Ask about the best shelling locations when booking the house.) Captivating sunrises and sunsets.

North Captiva was part of Captiva Island until a hurricane in 1921 created Redfish Pass, separating the 2 islands. Gulf Coast island located just north of Sanibel and Captiva Island.Caribbean like island 3½ miles long and ½ mile wide at the widest point. Over half the island is state nature preserve (our house has wonderful views of the preserve). Island has 2 restaurants, 2 gift shops, a pool bar and a small convenience store.

Rental notes: Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser. A second golf cart is available for $250.00 us /week

Interior of home is professionally decorated with high end furniture and truely wonderful color scheme. Gourmet Kitchen with stone counters and stainless steel appliances.The kitchen/living room veranda provides a wonderful space for dining and watching the sunset and sunrise. Rain head showers in both master bathrooms. Whirlpool tub in kids bathroom. Loft with sofa couch and sundeck. Cathedral ceiling in the living room and dining room fill the space with light and openness.

Outside Area:Verandas also provide space for outdoor dining and relaxing, watching the sunset over the Gulf in one of the incredibly comfortable adirondack chairs. The ground level imported tumbled marble patio extends out to the heated pool providing space to gather on comfortable patio furniture and access the outdoor kitchen and dining table.
