Haus Verona is located 10 minutes walk from the main and Gornergrat train stations and 5 minutes from Sunnegga metro and ski bus departure point. It is in a quiet and residential area with excellent local amenities and only a short walk along the pretty riverside to the bustling resort centre. The Apartment is in an elevated position (120 steps from street level) is on two levels and comfortably sleeps up to 8 people: 2 twin rooms on the ground floor with one bathroom (shower/WC) and two twin rooms on the 1st floor with one bathroom (WC/Shower and jacuzzi bath). It has an open plan kitchen which leads into the living and dining area. The diningliving area is light and comfortable with luxurious modern furnishings, which leads onto the south facing balcony with its' views of the Matterhorn and surrounding areas. The apartment is equipped with a plasma television with cable channels, DVD, CD/Radio and Internet connection. Housekeeping, shopping, and other services available on request at this apartment

The car free resort of Zermatt is situated at the foot of the Matterhorn in Switzerland and offers access to a ski area of over 400km, connected to Cervinia in Italy. The village is situated at 1560m and with the highest cable car at 3888m it ensures excellent skiing in the winter & great glacier skiing in the summer. A climbers and hikers paradise with 38 peaks over four-thousand metres and breathtaking views Zermatt has something to suit everyone. Alpine skiing and snowboarding , Heli skiing, Winter hiking, Cross-country skiing, Snowshoe walking, Sledging, Ice skating. ice climbing, Ski touring , Swimming (indoor swimming pools), Wellness centres, Paragliding Passengerflights, Helicopter sightseeing tours. Summer only: Mule Trekking around Zermatt, Forest Fun Park, Mountain biking,Tennis & 15 mins by train to the Golf course. A visit to the new Matterhorn Alpine museum is a must.

Rental notes: Prices in pounds are as a guide only. All transactions will be in Swiss Francs and the exchange rate will be calculated at the time of booking. The prices are based on 8 persons. Discounts and special offers are available for smaller parties. Please contact us directly for a quote. Premium weeks Christmas, New Year & Easter Winter season weekly bookings only with a Saturday changeover. Off-season: Special offers & short breaks (min 3 days) are available with a surcharge of CHF 150. Preferred payment method is by bank transfer. We also accept credit card payments with a 2.8% surcharge.

Outside Area:4 1/2 hours by train with only one change from all the main airports Geneva, Zurich and Milan. Easy train connections from Geneva and Zurich airport (train station in the airport) and a possiblity to obtain reduced rate train tickets if purchased before entering Switzerland. (we can advise on this). Taxi transfers available from all airports (we can organise this for you). Zermatt is a car free village so if travelling by car the you can drive as far as Tasch where you must leave the car in the main car park of one the garages and travel the last 10 minutes by train (trains run every 20 minutes) or taxi. Electro taxis are available at the train station to take you to your accommodation.
