There are no hotels. Beautiful Kailua beach is just 1/2 mile from Papaya Paradise, located on the windward side of Oahu is an uncrowded two mile stretch of white sand beach popular with windsurfers, snorkelers, kayakers, outrigger canoe paddlers and other water sports enthusiasts.

DIRECTIONS TO KAILUA FROM THE HONOLULU AIRPORT (a 20/30 minute drive)Upon leaving the AIRPORT.....GO RIGHT....and enter the UPPER DECK of the H-1, follow the H-1 WEST WAIANAE signs for approximately 3.1 miles (stay to the right), to the EXIT 13B interchange H-3 KANEOHE....Follow H-3 KANEOHE and EXIT 14 at KAILUA ...at the 2nd traffic light ONEAWA STREET....GO RIGHT and follow the road through six (6) TRAFFIC LIGHTS. (the name of the road changes from ONEAWA to KAILUA to WANAAO ROAD)...but continue straight on, you will come to a YELLOW BLINKING LIGHT ON THE CURVE IN THE ROAD.....follow the road around to the RIGHT... AUWINALA ROAD is the next street off to your right.....395 is the 2nd house on the left. Kailua is a quiet and friendly beach town with a variety of restaurant choices and is only 20/30 minutes from the Honolulu Airport and Waikiki. All major attractions/activities including Waikiki are easily reached from Kailua. Most attractions/activities are within a 60-75 minute drive (depending on traffic). Remember our island of Oahu is just 33 miles wide and 44miles long (as the crow flies). So no matter where you stay, you are not far from any point of interest. Oahu Nature Tours. Rental notes: 200 USd deposit for more than 3 day stay. Rates are from 100 USd per night for 1 or 2 people, plus tax of 14% and 25 USd departure cleaning fee. Additional person is 10 USd.

Unit #1 has a queen size bed and single bed and can accommodate 3 persons. Unit #2 has a king size bed and can accommodate 2 persons. Outside Area:Papaya Paradise offers: a 20x40 foot swimming pool and lanai area where guests can read or just relax. Small reading and reference library and comfortable reading chairs on lanai.
