Lucca region farmouse vacation - Pascoso 18th-century stone farmhouse

The house is truly lovely. It is an 18th-century stone building with three floors spanning roughly 325 square feet each. In short, Casa Marta is made of 1 kitchen/living room, 2 bedrooms (1 queen-bed room and 1room with two double beds), 2 bathroom (1 complete, and the other with wc, sink and bidet), and 2 pantries. We have installed a central heating system. And, naturally, a working fireplace adorns the second floor as what farmhouse would be complete without one!

Views:Mountain and countryside views

Nestled in a small mountain town called Pascoso, in the Apuane Park, 2,231 feet above sea level. Pascoso, in the Tuscan province of Lucca, has just under 100 inhabitants and is so small, with such narrow stone roads, that cars enter town along a short strip of the main road only. Nearly all the houses in town are built in stone, including their rooftops, and the smooth stones of the streets were laid hundreds of years ago. Not far from village(a 10- to 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive) is a charming little church on a tiny piazza, shaded in the summer by age-old trees. However, Pascoso is not far from the “cities of arts” of Tuscany: Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Siena are 15, 30, 60, and 95 miles away. And Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio, which are among the most famous Italian beaches, are only 30 miles far (approximately 45 minutes of driving !).Furthermore, the house is situated under an hour drive from many of Italy’s finest and most picturesque golf courses, such as Golf Alisea - 32km

Rental notes: Rates are in Euro and per week (Saturday to Saturday).They include electricity, water, gas, bed linen, towels,table cloths, baby bed, highchair, mountain bike. Weekly bed linen and towels will be changed at no extra cost for multiple week rentals. Fuel for winter heating (14 euro per day) and final leaning are not included in rental prices. Rentals start at 5 p.m. on the first day and end at 10 a.m. on the last day of the holiday. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, guests are kindly asked to arrive between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., and leave before 10 a.m., in order to allow the property to be prepared for the next guests. A security deposit is usually paid on arrival. Such amount will be refunded at the end of the holiday, less any made for any additional costs that were not included in the rental price

On the ground floor there is one bedroom, with a queen-size bed. The bedroom has one window and French doors. There is also a bathroom and a laundry room. The main entrance is on the second floor, where you will find a kitchen and living room in an open floor plan, and a bathroom complete with shower, plus a pantry. The master bedroom, spanning nearly 325 square feet with four windows, hardwood floors and wood beamed ceilings is on the top floor. It has two double beds, closets, a television, CD player, and so on. This room is not only ideal for sleeping, but also serves as the perfect playroom for small children. We have installed a central heating system. And, naturally, a working fireplace adorns the second floor as what farmhouse would be complete without one!

Outside Area:The house does not have a lawn, but there is space just outside the French doors leading out from the downstairs bedroom for a small table, sunshade and chairs
