La Cabanya is located 2 km. from Banyoles lake. The lakes water come from the highest Garrotxa. The lake has a carstic origin, the higher stratums of the subsoil collapsed years go and the water spouts from the deepest lake zones. Its vegetation is so rich that a lot of kinds of animals can live in the lake: green-neck duck, water pullet,.. Girona, a 15 km. of La Cabanya. Girona's city is situated in "el Gironès". Empúries 35 km. far of La Cabanya. Empúries is situated in "l'Alt Emporda" near St. Pere Pescador village and l'Escla village. Empúries is a ancient greek and roman city called Emporium. You should visit the Empúries ruins. The beach which is near the ruins is very peaceful and it´s a pleasure go for walk on it. On this beach the 1992 Olympic flame penetrated. Rental notes: The price depends the number of people and if it is high season or low season. For example: Price per week in low season for 2 people: 800 euro. Price per week in low season for 5 people: 1050 euro. Price per week in high season for 2 people: 1000 euro. Price per week in high season for 5 people: 1400 euro.
