Directly outside the living area there is the private garden, with a stone table perfect for a romantic dining!

The house overlooks the quiet and characteristic village of Breglia in Plesio, on the Menaggio hills. If you want to immerse yourself in italian culture, to find the Italy of the olden days, this is the place to do it: quite comfortable base to explore the area, the village is not affected by tourism but at few minutes from the most famous lake Como places as Menaggio (7km), Bellagio (only 7km+12 minutes ferry) and the Villa Balbianello: location of famous movies as "Casino Royal" James Bond 2006, Star Wars, Oceans 12. Lugano is at just 25km, and the famous St. Moritz at just 85km. The village offers beautiful views on lake glimpses, on mountains; green woods for a refreshingly peaceful and restorative stay. This is a good place for keen walkers: from Breglia start numerous hiking for all levels of difficulty. Some routes slide into the woods and reach old lake villages, others rising on mountain above the town, with stunning views on Lake Como, Lake Lugano and the Alps. In the apartment you will find all sorts of tourist info, maps, time table for nice lake cruises. A good restaurant is at just 50 meters from the house: typical local food and good wine. At 2km there is a Pizzeria, a restaurant, a mini market. In Menaggio town centre (7km) you can find all sorts of services (shops, banks, tourist office, pharmacy, first aid and hospital) and the piers of departure for nice cruise on the lake using the boat public service.

Rental notes: Rental prices are up to 2 pax, than depending on the number of guests: please ask me more info and website! short stay depending on season: 3 nights 2 pax from € 210. On request bed linen 7€/person, bath towels 7€/person. Electricity not included in price but calculate at the end on consumption (€ 0,50/kw). Supplement for heating depending on season. We have great trust in our guests, we don’t ask charge for final cleaning but please leave the apartment in a good condition.
