Very comfortable, restored farmhouse cottages are ideal for families and groups of friends. Set in the heart of Brittany, they are the perfect base for relaxing in peaceful surroundings and exploring this area of outstanding natural beauty.
The cottages each have their own south facing gardens and extensive lawns with good views. They are set down a lane, off a quiet road in an area very safe for children to play.

Ten minutes from Ploerdut is the town of Guéméné sur Scorff, historic home of the Princes of Rohan. There are several restaurants (try The Three Merchants for another lunchtime feast with Celtic décor and music), shops, cafes and an excellent supermarket with cheaper petrol.
A further 20 minutes drive brings you to the medieval/Napoleonic city of Pontivy with all amenities. This is the area's major centre and well worth a visit.
There's plenty to do apart from lazing about, including cycling and walking (try the Nantes-Brest Canal trail), riding, golf and any amount of beach based activities.
Close at hand is Priziac, with a large swimming lake. It is ideal for families, with beach, boats and a cafe. Further afield, the south coast around L'Orient, including the beaches of Larmor Plage, is about 40 minutes' easy driving on quiet roads.

Spacious oak beamed living/dining room, traditional fireplace with woodburner, hi-fi, French TV and DVD player. Bedroom with two bunk beds, chest of drawers, en-suite WC, washbasin. Nicely furnished throughout.
First floor: two bedrooms (twin + double, all with duvets) antique wardrobes and chests of drawers. Bathroom with bath/shower, washbasin, WC.
Outside Area:The cottage has its own south facing gardens and extensive lawn with good views. It is set down a lane, off a quiet road in an area very safe for children to play.
