We are a danish couple with 2 children who have renovated a large house in Vence, Southern France, and have created several light and spacious holiday apartments. The house is centrally yet quietly located in walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. The holiday apartments are newly renovated with their own kitchen and bathroom. From the apartments there is access to a terrace with barbecue. Parking is free on the property. All apartments have a nice view over a valley to the forest. Free satellite TV and WIFI. Vence is a small peaceful town in the central Cote d'Azur of the southern France. It is ideally situated for exploration of the surrounding area. Vence is a medieval town, where the old town centre has been preserved, with its narrow crooked streets, fountains and cosy restaurants. Every tuesday the town centre is transformed into a traditional Provence market, where one can buy almost anything. In the town you will find many fascinating historical buildings. We recommend a visit to Chapelle du Rosaire, decorated by Matisse. From the top of Col de Vence (970 m) there is a unique view over the Alps and down the mountains to the Mediterranean. The south of France is a Mekka for golfers and it is possible to play on a new course every day of your holiday. The Riviera is ideal for your golf holidays in France. There is a wide range of art shops, potteries etc. Fondation Maegh, an art museum in Saint Paul de Vence ranking among the best in the world is certainly worth a visit. It comprises a sculpture park, exhibition galleries, art workshops and an art library. If you are into shopping, Cannes and Monaco would be obvious places to go. Every friday there is a huge market in Ventimiglia (Italy), a small trip (about 60 km) from Maison de l'Ara. The french center of perfume manufacturing is Grasse (25 km), where you can visit the factories and even get to create your own perfume under guidance from the manufacturers experts.

There is a computer with flat-screen satellite TV/DVDand free WiFi Internet access. For 4 persons, optionally 2 extra persons using a sofa bed in the living room. Apartment no. 3: The holiday apartment contains: kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and a large dining-living room. It has a computer with flat-screen satellite TV/DVD and free WiFi Internet access. For 2 persons, optionally 2 extra persons using a sofa bed in the living room. Studio no. 4: Small studio with own entrance, shower/wc, refrigerator, electric kettle and a barbecue on the terrace.
