The end-terraced cottage has 3 bedrooms, consisting of a large family room with king size bed, an attractive twin attic room and single pine bedroom. A modern bathroom provides a bath & separate shower cubicle. Also available is a travel cot, 2 spare single 'pull-out' beds and a sofa bed in the lounge for additional guests. There is a spacious, beamed lounge with 32inch TV, DVD, video and CD player. The modern kitchen has a 6 ring gas hob & electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, separate fridge & freezer. A new downstairs toilet has recently been installed with small hand basin and washing machine. A separate, colourful dining room seats up to 6 and has a child’s high chair. The dining room leads through patio doors onto a small slate patio with garden bench, table & chairs. An advantage for families is that the patio looks out across to a small children's playground. There are many books, videos, local maps & information, children's toys & games provided for your convenience.

Views:The small patio looks out onto a local childrens park and local mountains. The attic bedroom has lovely views across the rooftops to the surrounding mountains.

Llanberis is in the heart of Snowdonia, a mountainous region of North Wales yet only 20 mins to coast. The house is only a 2 min walk to a beautiful lake, surrounded by mountains. Llanberis is famous for being at the foot of Mount Snowdon and it is possible to walk all the way up Mount Snowdon from the house itself. Within the village are numerous cafes, craft shops, outdoor specialist shops, bread and small grocery stores. A walk around the local lake takes you to the famous Slate museum, where on the site there is scuba diving in the quarry, childrens play centre, cafe, old miners museum, 'high-ropes' activity area and much more. By the lake one can take a trip on the cruiser boat, hire canoes or take your own craft. For little ones, a steam train chugs around the lake from a base on the edge of the village. The Snowdon mountain railway which Llanberis is famous for starts from the edge of the village and takes visitors to the summit at regular intervals throughout the day. The famous 'Electric Mountain' visitor centre is also in Llanberis village, great for wet days. The local area around Llanberis is famous for rock climbing, particularly amongst the slate quarries and hiking through the surrounding mountains. Further afield inland are the famous villages of Betws-y-Coed, Capel Curig and Beddgelert. A 15-20 mins drive to the coast where you can visit Caernarfon with its castle, harbour & pebbly shores or drive across to Angelsey with its beautiful pine clad beac

Outside Area:Ripon House is ideally situated in a small village in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. With 2 lakes surrounded by mountains, a medieval castle ruin, a country park, National slate museum, and the famous Snowdon Railway, it is easy to understand why Llanberis is special. Within this area of outstanding natural beauty is the widest variety of things to do, as well as places to shop & eat. Llanberis is the ideal place to visit at any time of year. Walking & rock climbing have always been favourite past-times, with one of the most popular footpaths up Mount Snowdon starting in the village.
