We are a family run business who have developed the 17th French century farm house and attached barns into four individual holiday cottages or gites. Our aim is to ensure that you and your whole family have a relaxing, enjoyable and memorable stay. We offer a family friendly / child friendly accommodation. All four holiday cottages (Gites), from the 2 bedroomed cottage to the large 4 bedroomed home have been beautifully restored to an exceptionally high standard while maintaining the traditional French style. At the rear of each gite, French doors open from the living room and lead onto a private patio area, complete with tables, chairs and loungers - all overlooking the pool area. Logis de la Croix is located in the quiet, picturesque village of Gibourne and is untouched by modern times - which makes it an ideal holiday destination for those who want a totally relaxing, stress-free time away from all the noise and traffic. However, for those who like a more active holiday, on the doorstep are numerous outside activities, including water skiing, go-karting, indoor and outdoor tennis courts. La Palmyre Zoo: Located just 10 km north-west of Royan, this fourteen-hectare zoo is home to animals from all over the world. More than 1,500 animals from all five continents including lions, tigers, wolves, sea lions, polar bears, hippopotami, zebras, rhinoceros, elephants, apes, ostriches, parrots, ibis, and even crocodiles. Parrot and sea lion shows from Easter to early November. Futuroscope : Like something out of a science fiction novel - Futuroscope represents a futuristic universe, with a gigantic sphere set against sloping sheets of glass, translucent cubes, reflective organ pipes and crystal mirrors reaching and dividing the sky. Courvoisier ( Courvoisier ) : The Courvoisier company in Jarnac, on the banks of the River Charente, takes visitors on an outstanding tour: history of the Napoleonic era illustrated with memorabilia, objects and equipment used in the production of cognac and an audio-visual presentation.

All four gites have French doors leading onto a private patio area, complete with table, chairs, sun loungers and gas BBQ. From here you can see the pool area and have views across the beautiful Gibourne Valley. Each Gite now has (UK) Satellite TV installed. In addition all Gites have FREE WiFi Access. Gite 2: Logis (Sleeps 10) Entering from the courtyard into the fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, 2 fridges and microwave. The large dining table seats 10 guests. Archway to the lounge with beamed cathedral ceiling, stone fireplace with log burner, TV (with UK Satellite TV) and video/DVD and plenty of room to relax. On the ground floor there is a family bedroom with a double bed, set of bunk beds and fitted wardrobe. Across the corridor is a second bedroom with two single beds. Between these 2 bedrooms is the bathroom. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, both of which have a double beds, and each has an en-suite shower room with shower, sink and toilet.

Outside Area:There are 2 heated pools which are enclosed by a self-locking gate for peace of mind if you have young children. Beyond the pool area is an acre of lawned garden, overlooking fields. This is equiped with a range of children's play equipment including swings, slides, and wendy house - guaranteed to keep the young one's occupied.
