Our Holiday House is over the hills, among woods and olive yards, where our gentle guests can make relaxing walks and excursions looking for wild herbs, asparagus and mushrooms. The accomodations are managed by the Deseo family, living in one of the apartments of the Holiday House; ask Mrs Margherita to prepare one of her famous jam tarts, or you could help Mr Domenico in one of his agricultural duties, while those who wish to taste a typical local dinner can ask Deseo, chef with more than 20 years experience, to light the barbecue in the garden, so that, under the stars sitting in the outdoor gazebo, you won't easily forget this little corner of paradise...

From La Costa you can reach, in few minutes, the most important artistical cities of Umbria: Spoleto, wonderful town whose past greatness (from Ancient Rome to Renaissance) is still witnessed by a great historical and artistic inheritance; Assisi, and its marvellous Basilica of S. Francesco, one of the most important resort of all Christian spirituality; throughMontefalco, land of Sagrantino wine, Trevi, a village with a marvellous panoramic position, upon wide extent of olive yards, and Campello with its Fonti del Clitunno; but also the smashing naturalistic beauties of Valnerina: Cascia and Norcia, of course, but much more: from the Castelluccio's tableland to the Marmore Falls, passing through the roman archaeological excavations of Carsulae, till Orvieto and Todi, a still uncomtaminated land, rich in 'ancient flavours', among art, history, nature and spirituality. Or, simply, a walk (by feet or bike) in the woods and green parks surrounding the House, searching for mushrooms and asparagus, in touch with the wonderful nature of umbrian countryside. The 4 apartments of our Holiday House have the names of the 4 natural elements: Water, Air, Earth, Fire. Simply furnished, with local and rural pieces of furniture, all have private toilette, ceiling ventilator and tv. You will rest on ancient beds in wrought iron, those where used to sleep our grand parents, whose objects and equipment pertinent to rural activities are still in the house, so to offer a 'scent' of our traditions and of the rustic culture of the site.
