Casa Ana is a beautiful, air-conditioned first floor apartment literally across the road from the La Marquesa Golf Course. It is accessed by a private road to the rear, therefore there are only 2 steps into the main living area. There is one double bedroom and one twin, a beautifully furnished living and dining area and a kitchen area with fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker, ceramic hob and microwave. There is satellite television, DVD and CD, and the apartment benefits from air-conditioning (warm as well as cold) and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Situated in the town of Quesada, close to Rojales, Casa Ana is just 10 minutes by road from several Blue Flag beaches in and around the towns of Guardamar and Torrevieja. There is a quiet, shared swimming pool just 50 metres along the private road, making it exceptionally safe for children. There is a supermarket within walking distance, together with the Golf Clubhouse for those wishing for a relaxing round or two. Climb the steps to the roof terrace and you will find there are stunning views right across the Golf Course to the distant mountains beyond. Sun loungers and a barbecue are provided. The town is situated in the quieter southern part of the Costa Blanca, some 60 miles south of Benidorm and away from the noise and "British resort" status of that area! The southern Costa Blanca is one of the sunniest parts of Spain.

The area is situated at the southern end of the Costa Blanca, a much quieter and more up-market region than that around Benidorm, some 60 miles to the north. It is dominated by the towns of Guardamar and Torrevieja. Guardamar is a pleasant town with a lovely promenade where you will find lots of pavement cafes. Torrevieja is much bigger and has a very interesting port and pier. From here you can take a glass-bottomed boat trip out to the islands. A little further south is the historic city of Cartagena, and the internationally-renowned sports resort of La Manga can be reached during a half-day trip. There are many Golf Courses in the area, including, of course La Manga itself. There are miles of Golden Mediterranean beaches, many of which have been awarded a Blue Flag for cleanliness. Inland there are Nature Reserves suitable for walkers, a very picturesque lake with flocks of flamingoes, and the mountains around Orihuela are only a half hour away.
