Villa with a beautiful Mediterranean style garden and a wonderful view on Lake Maggiore, Italy. Nearby are the charming lakefront villages Germignaga, Porto Valtravaglia and Caldè with a lovely beach. The lively town of Luino is located at 6 km with the largest open market of Northern Italy. At Laveno (12 km) you can easily hop on any ferry to explore the Maggiore lake (regular schedule towards Verbania, Stresa and the Borromeo islands). The most renowned towns of Lago Maggiore on the Piedmont side are Arona, Stresa with its refined elegance, Verbania Pallanza and the town Intra, the charming village Cannero Riviera with a nice beach and Cannobio, close to Switserland. On the Lombard side there are the town Luino and its famous market, Maccagno with a popular beach, the charming Laveno and its cableway towards a panoramic view, and finally the laid-back village Angera and its Castle La Rocca.

This vacation villa is peacefully situated in a residential area of Brezzo di Bedero at 1 km of Lake Maggiore. Nearby are the charming lakefront villages Germignaga, Porto Valtravaglia and Caldè with a lovely beach. The lively town of Luino is located at 6 km with the largest open market of Northern Italy. Lake Maggiore is the second biggest Italian lake after Lago di Garda, its eastern bank is in Lombardy, the western in Piedmont while the northern section extends into Switzerland. The charming little towns along its shores are popular resorts today with their grand hotels recalling the Belle Epoque. Especially noteworthy are the Borromeo islands just in front of Stresa, these small islands include: Isola Bella with a majestic pallace, Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen’s Island) and Isola Madre with a bothanical garden. From Stresa there is a cableway up to the Mottarone mountain providing a spectacular view over Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. In winter it’s possible to ski here and in summer it’s a great day out for walking around or mountain biking your way down to Stresa. Just next to the golden triangle of Lake Maggiore (Stresa, Verbania, Laveno), don’t forget to visit the beautiful monastery of Santa Caterina del Sasso.

Rental notes: Prices are quoted for 4 persons rental, price above 4 persons: 15 euro per person per day. Security deposit on arrival (obligatory): 200 euro. Final cleaning (obligatory): 75 euro. Heating charge based on consumption. Domestic animals allowed: 10 euro per night.

This private holiday house is structured on 2 floors and sleeps up to 6 persons. The spacious living room is tastefully furnished with large windows and exposed wooden beams on the ceiling. The cozy sitting area features comfortable couches, sat TV, open fireplace and a dining area with access to the garden. There is a small TV room with a bar and a double sofa bed. Fully equipped separate kitchen with dish washer and microwave. Bathroom and toilet. Going down on the internal staircase you’ll find two bedrooms with double bed, bathroom with tub and overhead shower, and laundry room with washing machine and enclosed shower.

Outside Area:The balcony offers a panoramic view on Lago Maggiore and the surrounding mountains. You can enjoy al fresco dining on the covered terrace with outside fireplace and table. The large sunny garden has a nice green lawn with beautiful plants, flowers and trees. The property is completely fenced and secured with an electronic entrance gate. Covered parking space available inside the property.
