Villa Olivia is situated on a hill with olive grooves with a spectacular view on the bay of Finikunda, on the south-western tip of the Peloponnese in the province of Messinia; a harmony of peace and beauty. It is a newly build house with all modern equipments and tasteful furniture. From the terraces you have wonderful views on the sea and the islands of Oinoussae as well as on the Tayegetos mountains. The nearest beach ( Mavrovoumi) can be reached by foot in 20 minutes and in 5 minutes by car. The nearest village is Finikunda (2,5 km) scattered with small, often authentic taverna's and restaurants, right at the shore.

There are various sandy beaches and nice little bays where you will not be disturbed by mass tourism. The sea water from Finikounda gets a blue EU flag for clean water every year. You can visit the premontary in Methoni, a crumbled castle overlooking the expansive seas or you can visit the ancient site in Pylos, previously a monastry, now a well-kept open-air museum. For a small fee you can spend hours in contemplation and stillness. Also Koroni has a beautifull castle with a monastery. The bay of Voidikilia, at 10 km of Pylos, is a little jewel and it is connected to a lagoon that is a Natura2000 area. Mistras is a world heritage site, build in 1249 by the Franks with influences from Venitians, Turks and Byzantine. Also Olympia is an archeological site that is worthwhile the 150 km trip by car. This whole region of the southwestern Peloponnese is one of the most quiet holiday places with lots of possibilities to enjoy nature as it was....... It is also well known for its olive oil and Kalamata olives!

Apartment Daphne is on the ground floor, for up to 5 persons (50 sq meters). It consists of: a big living area with an open kitchen and a sofa-bed, a half-open bedroom with 2 single beds, a bedroom with 2 single beds, a big bathroom with shower and a huge covered terras (25 sq meters) with magnificent view on the Mediterranean sea. There is central heating. The apartment is also accessible for wheelchairs.

Outside Area:The house is situated on a hill with olive groves, far away from it all. You can relax in the garden (the property is 2.000m2) or make a barbecue in the evening. Each apartment has its own front door and the terraces face the south; no need to go out for dinner, the view is so enchanting that people often choose to cook at home.
