The house has recently been constructed to a high standard and is tastefully furnished in Northern Italian style with exposed beams, rustic floor tiles and stonework, with every modern convenience. The holiday house lies on a sunny hillside with 180° panoramic views across to the mountains and down to the Maggiore lake.

This vacation villa is situated in San Bernardino Verbano in a quiet countryside location just next to the National Park Val Grande. Don't be surprised when you occasionally spot a deer around the house. The park offers a wide range of leisure activities and sports. It's approx a 10 mins drive to Lake Maggiore and to the town of Intra Verbania with many shops, bars and restaurants. You can stroll along the lakefront promenade and hop on any ferry to explore all parts of the beautiful Lago Maggiore. Lake Maggiore is the second biggest Italian lake after Lago di Garda, its eastern bank is in Lombardy, the western in Piedmont while the northern section extends into Switzerland. The charming little towns along its shores are popular resorts today with their grand hotels recalling the Belle Epoque. The most renowned towns of Lago Maggiore on the Piedmont side are Arona, Stresa with its refined elegance, Verbania Pallanza and the town Intra, the charming village Cannero Riviera with a nice beach and Cannobio, close to Switserland. On the Lombard side there are the town Luino and its famous market, Maccagno with a popular beach, the charming Laveno and its cableway towards a panoramic view, and finally the laid-back village Angera and its Castle La Rocca.

Rental notes: Security deposit on arrival (obligatory): 300 euro. Final cleaning (obligatory/week): 70 euro. Gas (+heating) based on consumption (obligatory): 3 euro/mі. Bed and bath linen (on request): 25 euro/person. Free wood available for the open fireplace. Bicycles freely available. In high seasons: bookings per week (saturday). In low and medium season: bookings per day (5 nights minimum).

On the main floor is a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen with large windows offering plenty of light and great views of the lake and surrounding nature: couches, open fireplace, flatscreen satellite TV, single bed. Fully fitted kitchen with a door that leads out onto the terrace with table and chairs. Bathroom with shower. Next to the living room is a room with independent entrance: double bed, table and windows giving out on its own terrace. Upstairs on the 1st floor is the master bedroom with double bed, balcony and a bathroom with shower. On the 2nd floor is a charming open space attic room with double bed and two single beds. This room has air conditioning.

Outside Area:The terrace, garden and bbq are ideal for dining and living al fresco during the warm summer evenings. Private heated swimming pool (8x5m) with deck chairs, sun loungers, hammock and outdoor shower. The pool area is completely fenced, ideal for a family holiday with children. Five bicycles, badminton rackets and some children games are freely available to the guests.
