It is part of the famous Costa Alegra on the Pacific coast of Mexico. Visit the local art gallery and see some very fine local art. La Manzanilla is part of an eco-cultural center with a lagoon teeming with alligators and birds of all sorts. The bay (Tenecatita) has a large beach which is one of finest on the Pacific Coast and is ideal for swimming, walking, sunbathing, deep sea fishing, and snorkeling. You are only a short distance from some of the finest surfing of the Pacific. Lie back in a hammock and read, watch the beautiful sunsets or enjoy many of the great activities available such as horse back riding, kayaking, cycling, hiking or shopping.
