Packed with character in an elegant Georgian town house, this apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay within walking distance of the centre of Britain's only World Heritage city. Large sitting room with dining table, well-equipped kitchen, double bedroom with vaulted ceiling, smaller second bedroom/dressing room and bathroom all with central heating and exclusive use of a small, secure garden which is safe for children and dogs. There is free unrestricted parking outside - a rare commodity in Bath - and local shops, theatre, pubs and restaurant all within a few hundred yards. The city centre is about 1.4 miles level walk, with bus stop outside. In addition to the many attractions in Bath itself, the Cotswolds and beautiful countryside of Somerset and Wiltshire is within easy reach including Stonehenge, Castle Combe, Laycock, Avebury and many other delightful and interesting places to visit. We provide freshly-laundered bed linen and towels, and the rental rate includes all gas and electricity.

The city of Bath has long been famed as a centre for pleasure and enjoyment since Roman times. It was in the Georgian era that the city was expanded using the local honey-coloured stone to create such masterpieces as the Royal Crescent, the Circus and Queen Square. Bath is Britain's only UNESCO World Heritage City, and contains a wonderful mix of museums, restaurants, pubs and shops. Here you'll find the Jane Austen Centre, numerous art galleries, the Pump Rooms and Roman Baths among many other examples of the city's illustrious past. Bang up to date are the Thermae Bath Spa, where you can bathe in naturally heated spa waters in a rooftop pool overlooking the city, and the new Southgate Centre which includes many national and international retail brands. The city is also well placed for touring farther afield to The Costswolds (The Cotswold Way begins at the doorway to Bath Abbey), Wells, Glastonbury, the Somerset Levels and the rolling countryside of Wiltshire and Salisbury Plain. The garden apartment is at the garden level of a long parade of Grade 1 listed Georgian townhouses, built in 1792 on the western side of the city centre.

Spacious living room with three-seater sofabed and smaller sofa, dining table and chairs for four, TV and DVD player, radio/CD player, open fireplace with gas fire (fuel included in rental). Kitchen with electric oven, four-ring gas hob, sink and drainer, dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, ample supply of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. Bathroom with bath, wash-hand basin and low-level WC. Double bedroom with unusual vaulted ceiling, mirror-fronted double wardrobe. This room is linked by a deep open archway to a smaller secondary bedroom/dressing room with two beds which can either be used singly or pushed together as a double. Open storage shelves.

Outside Area:Walled garden at rear of the building, with outdoor seating and table. This area is completely safe for young children and dogs (both of which we're very happy to accommodate!) There is free unrestricted parking at the road level in front of Grosvenor Place. The apartment is on a main bus route into the city centre.
