Located within the Golden Triangle of Sarlat – Beynac – Domme, Les Tournesols is a stone built cottage providing a blend of rustic charm and stylish self catering accommodation for 4 people. Set in its own grounds just 150m from the river Dordogne it is ideally situated for exploring the Dordogne valley and surrounding areas.

Vitrac is just an hours drive from Bergerac airport. Bordeaux, Toulouse, Limoges and Rodez airports are a 2 hour drive away. The Dordogne Valley region of South West France, where our self catering holiday homes are located, is an area of exquisite natural beauty with lots to offer it’s visitors all year round. The pleasant climate, with warm sunny days in Summer ( 25° to 35° C ) and crisp bright days in Winter, provides the perfect atmosphere for enjoying the varied delights of the region. Situated inland from Bordeaux and north of Toulouse the area is easily accessed, being well serviced by rail, motorways, and airports with daily connections to many British and European destinations, and worldwide via Paris. The river Dordogne and its tributary the Vézère meander lazily through the landscape of widely varying and spectacular scenery, ranging from lush Oak- wooded hillsides to softer undulating countryside rich with walnut groves, vineyards, and fields of corn.

On the ground floor the open plan living area has exposed stone walls and original oak beams. The comfortable couch and armchairs are arranged around the open fireplace with wood-burning stove. A selection of books and games for adults and children. The kitchen area has a range of fitted cupboards and is well equipped. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, bedroom 2 has two standard single beds. Both rooms are comfortably furnished with fitted carpets and electric radiator heating and have views over the surrounding countryside.

Outside Area:Private sunny terrace with barbeque and garden furniture for al-fresco dining and relaxing in the sun. The garden is totally private and has badminton and table tennis table. There is parking for up to 2 cars. The 8mx4m swimming pool is private and secluded and for the exclusive use of the guests in Les Tournesols. surrounded by a paved area with garden furniture and parasols it is convenient to the terrace. It has a solar shower and a security cover for the safety of small children.
