Chalet de Bonheur offers bed and breakfast or half board accommodation for up to ten guests, with Apartment Bonheur offering a self catering option sleeping upto 6 guests. On the top floor we offer two guest rooms. One a double guest room and the other a room with two double beds accommodating upto four guests. These two rooms can be booked as a family suite, sleeping upto six. On the ground floor we offer another two double guest rooms, one can also be made up as suite to sleep three or four guests with connecting bedroom doors. Hairdryers are supplied. Each comfortable bedroom has ample storage space, fresh linen and towels for your stay, a change of towels is supplied for a week long holiday. All of the shower rooms are equipped with heated towel rails and hairdryers. Chalet guests can enjoy relaxing in the family lounge, equipped with English tv, a dvd player and a music centre, with a real wood fire. Enjoy wholesome continental breakfasts, delicious four course evening meals served with fine local wine, with spectacular views of the ski slopes and surrounding montains. We offer a ground floor self catering apartment with a comfortable double bedroom, a kitchenette, dining room area, lounge and shower room. There is a further double guest room available opposite across the hall. The lounge has a comfortable click clack bed which could sleep a further two guests, a television, cd and dvd player. The shower room has a great multi jet shower, wash basin and toilet, a heated towel rail and a hairdryer is suplied. The kitchenette is equipped for up to six guests with a hob and microwave/ grill, toaster, fridge freezer, kettle, coffee machine, and a dining table. We supply all bed linen and a set of towels, an inclusive basic starter pack of tea, sugar, coffee, s+p, and kitchen cloths, even a bottle of wine for a weeks booking. An advanced starter pack can be ready for your arrival, enough for a day or two!

Chalet de Bonheur, Formigueres, is situated on the Capcir plateau, high in the French Pyrenees Orientales mountain range, surrounded by over 27 mountain lakes, with over six thousand years of strong history and colourful Catalane culture, boasting traditional villages influenced by Baroque and Romanesque design and Vauban creations, all in over 300 days of sunshine a year. Formigueres village, once the summer residence of the King of Mallorca, is a great starting point to explore the enchanting Galbe valley, Lake Camporells, Bouillouses, Mont Carlit, the GR10 and the Tour de Capcir, and only half an hour from the Spanish border and one and a half hours from the beach at Perpignan.

Both the chalet main lounge and apartment lounge have television and dvd players. The main chalet lounge has a real wood fire for those winter evenings apres ski!

Outside Area:Guests can enjoy use of the chalet garden with amazing views. The village free to use tennis courts and childrens play area is only 100metres from the chalet.
